I have two painted wood turtles. I know one is a full grown male. The younger one, I thought it was a male too, but just recently, the other has started mounting him, but the tail is fat, but not very long. It's only about 3 years old. The other male is like 12 or 13 maybe. At 3 years old, would the tail of a male just be fat or really short? I'm just trying to clarify if I might possibly have a female in my male.
Looking good over there despite the heatwave. What a beautiful bunch of turtles!
They are so pretty!
Just inherited one!
You need a coconut fiber ground it's better for them to barrow in and it's less hard on there shell
Have you seen any nest yet from the females?
I have so many questions ?! I have two as well
