Plot twist: the reason people always make fun of her is because she brings her own preschool sized furniture with her everywhere she goes and refuses to use normal tables and chairs. She also exclusively walks around on stilts, even if she wakes up in the middle of the night to pee she has to either put on the stills to walk to the bathroom or she just rolls.

Literally all the characters were like 5’5 and under, made her look like a 3 story building moving through the hallway (yes, I watched the movie, yes it was very cringe)
The funniest thing about this movie is the 6'1" thing... not only is that a totally normal height (every high school basketball team I've seen will have several taller Tall Girls, and college even more so), but AVA MICHELLE IS 6 FOOT 2 INCHES TALL. They made a movie about a girl so "absurdly tall" that it affects every aspect of her life, got a realistically tall actress to play the lead, and said "No, that's too tall for Tall Girl"

edit: i could be wrong here, but im pretty sure thats it was. and since everyone's asking, let me explain.
i didn't go to the school when it was being shot, but in the film you can see locations around my school- colors and all. and my highschool specifically is no stranger to being a movie set, namely, The Guest back in 2014 and more recently, disney's Stargirl.
i can only assume shooting this film was similar to the other two. meaning, it was inconvenient and best and completely obtrusive and worst. we couldn't use hallways or in some cases entire buildings for days at a time. getting to classes on the other side of campus was a nightmare because of the sets all around the school.
when it comes to any movie being filmed in a real-world operational location, especially a school, its just straight up annoying

I looked this up because I couldn't take it anymore. The bee one is called 1313: Giant Killer Bees. The best part is that there are 6 other movies in the 1313 universe. Giant Killer Bees was the first, being released in 2010, and the last was Night of the Widow, being released in August of 2012. I specify August because some of the other 1313 movies were released in the same year. The highest rating any of them has is a 41%. In conclusion, when Covid is over I'd like to formally request that Danny, Drew, and Kurtis watch all 7 of these movies and making a highlights video. While I'd love to do nothing more than watch all of these myself, I just don't know if my brain could take in that much bullshit. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.
