They are not 'retelling' jokes they are performing for an audience who likely has never heard them or has brought ppl with them who haven't heard them. Once a comedian makes it big they can start doing more material, but this is absolutely the norm for getting your name around. Jeff Dunham did the same gig for what, 15 years or more before he made it then started adding a whole lot to his act. But you'll still see him do the same show for Chicago as he did for Austin

well that is the problem with internet...all comedians have a harder time now because you can see everything all in one go. Decades ago before youtube a comedian could get by one one act for like a couple years touring around different cities without people knowing what they will say.
Comedians are not doing comedy sets for youtube they are doing the routines for paying customers in comedy venues. Those people rarely follow the comedian to other clubs so to every club it's a new comedic set. Comics do not memorize 40 different 90 minute sets so every gig they go to hears new material which would be damn near impossible anyway! People on youtube are getting comedy for free. Scroll through and find ones you haven't seen and stop complaining.
