I have this cymbal too. Too washy and not really pingy. Good cymbal, great tone and looks. But Not what I wanted. I want PING and little wash.Or even next to no wash.
It's cause the way he is hitting it, way too horizontal and not using the tip of the stick as much, I have this ride and it do has a strong ping, although totally more suited for hard rock and metal since it has wash and loud volume
I have one of these cymbals, and I really like it. I have it in a traditional finish.
If it's in a traditional finish, it's probably a regular A, rather than an A Custom.
Mike Parzyck I put three rivets in mine about three 3 1/2 inches from the center - the most flexible cymbal I have ever played
what snare are you usinh

Sabian HH Leopard Ride is your best bet
tmont007 I have this same ride too. Hard to get little to no wash with a ride. Throw a few moon gels on your ride. They'll take some of the wash away.
tmont007 Try a mini cup ride.
Because it's 20 inches
Sounds like a sabian b8
nice sounding ride, but yeah, not pingy
If you want loud PING and hardly any wash...then go with a Zildjian 20" K Heavy ride.
Earth Ride is GoAT
I can barely hear a 'ping'. ?
