    This video is very helpful. But I don't have a drill. Is there any way to remove the broken thermal fuse without using a drill?

    • @psycolana
      @psycolana  Рік тому +1

      you could use a round file or a nose plier or even a blade, knife, but take care of your hands

    I haven't got multi meter to test each component. If there was burning smell before it stopped working, then lights not coming on and not heating up. Tried changing fuse in plug too. Do u think it's thermal fuse that's gone? Hope u can help. Pipes frozen and very cold. thanks

      It could very much be the thermal fuse, visually check for discoloration of the thermal fuse, if you find discoloration change it, but better to have a multimeter to check, it could also be the power cord.

      follow steps has shown in Video start by checking power cord, switch, thermostat, thermal cut out and thermal fuse. also do not cover the top of the vent example keep clothes to dry also air needs to pass from the bottom

      that's how it's supposed to work, once it reaches a certain temperature it turns off automatically. Try turning the knob higher if it's not reaching the temperature you want.

    I do not have a thermal fuse. Just a thermal cut out. When testing with multimeter there is continuity but when the heater is operating it stops after 1 minute. Can it be that the thermal cutout is faulty?

    • @paulbajan1976
      @paulbajan1976 Рік тому

      Also, I tried searching for the part number for the thermal cutout online but could not find it. Is there any other part code for it?

    • @psycolana
      @psycolana  Рік тому +1

      Hi, try cleaning the contacts of the cutout using a high grit sandpaper, if issue still persists replace it. I am procuring parts via aliexpress buying is in the description check if its the same model.

       @Paul Bajan try cleaning the fins, and see that the fins are not touching each other, check the power cable for any short, also check the thermostat.

      @@paulbajan1976 I have never used it, so wont be able to comment, you will need to refer to the data sheet, and chk if its compatible.
