Very, very true! If you have more items or will need more time, it def might be more stressful. They do have options to extend the rentals, but that might get pricey. We are big procrastinators, so it did force us to unpack...but if we had hella stuff it'd be v overwhelming. Lol.
Two moving hacks/tips: use your clothes to wrap delicate items, this way you don’t have to spend money on bubble wrap and you pack your clothes. Second, if you have the space, save all of your bubble mailers from Amazon etc. and come moving day, you’ll have free bubble wrap.

Those bins are life CHANGING!!! IF you don't have that service in your area, check out U HAUL or a company that does this service for offices. You have to pick them up instead of them dropping them off, but it's awesome!!

Movers are SO worth it!! My roommate and I did have an experience where the movers took alllll day and then tried to charge us extra but even still, not having to haul heavy shit is everything.

Second, I hired movers for the first time because I was moving from Indiana to LA to be reunited with my husband in LA last month. At some point, these heifers lose my mother-in-law's crockpot, which was a wedding gift from her wedding in the 70s and they claim they don't know where it is! Idk if i can trust folks with my belongings anymore after that, so I might have to stick to Uhaul for my own peace of mind lol. What a beautiful apartment. You are so lucky to have found a apartment this spacious and the upgrades are amazing. Now here is my issue - I love Trader Joes but I live in Canada (40 minute drive to TJ's) however the borders have been closed since the COVID - It breaks my heart when you review a TJ's item and say it is amazing. At least I am not missing out on the cauliflower wraps :-).

If you wanna put Joe on the phone, ya better know German. That store is owned by Aldi, a German brand. And when you live in Germany... There are no trader Joes! But, some few random select trader Joe's products are found sporadically at Aldi. It's very weird. Also, in Germany, every store is like Aldi, in terms of cart rentals, bags cost extra, and cashiers sit. Also groceries are cheap here 😂 last time I visited the US my brain nearly exploded. Arugula is $5? It's 1€ here. Wild.

I picked up and drove 16 hours from Vermont to Tennessee when I moved, I sold and donated so many things, but moved with what I could fit in my little Honda civic with my dog in the back seat! It was crazy and watching you move reminded me of the adventure. Good luck with your new place :)

While the bin rental seems cool, most people don’t unpack their whole house in a few weeks. So sometimes having boxes you can keep works better
