This was the first album I owned on CD and it was one of the first you could buy on CD. I drove a VW Golf GTI and as a lot of people did I fitted a 1,200watt sound system with 9 speakers. The sound quality was amazing and it felt as if you were sitting right in amongst the band. I’m amazed now at 66 that I don’t have hearing problems as I always played it turned up to 11. Still got the amplifiers in my shed and might just fit them in my latest car! This was one of my favourite tracks on the album.

When I was in the military service (1986-1988) I've listened this song for 10 times per day. I was a close friend with the DJ of the barracks. We had a choice between the music from the only state radio station at the time where there were only news about the great achievements of communism and patriotic music, and some tapes brought by some of us. The choice was very simple and natural - the few tapes were listened and re-listened to dozens and hundreds of times. 😊

Mmm.. I was once on a journey in a foreign land.. and my girl was in a distant place on her own journey.. and I missed her so much. At that time the riff from this song started playing in my head.. and it took some time before I found out that it was actually from this song, because I couldn't really remember ever hearing it before. That puzzled me, but also gave me the feeling that this song really embodies the emotions that the song is about.
