Serious question for people working up there. I'm looking to get an oil field job. I don't have a lot of experience in stuff like that. Worked as a laborer for the last 5 years. Will some companies train you and apprentice you? If so, will they expect you to be a mechanical kind of person. I'm not into cars or anything like that...I'm not the smartest guy in the world, but I'm not dumb either.

theyll train you, youd have no problem, and its not so much oil 'fields' as oil 'sludge' haha, and its not bad up here, very scenic
