This is one of the best channels on UA-cam, hands down
👍
Going to get one of these , been invited to a pirate themed birthday party so i am going as a somali pirate.
I did just that a couple of years ago, the reaction was priceless!
LOL XD
IIIIIIIIIIrrrrishhh I WILL FIND!!!
@@darkstarnh listen to what I am saying
I am di captain of Di boat now lol
@@arppaa3186 there’s not enough diversity in Somali pirates and that’s racist , if they were inclusive and tolerant they’d let me self identify as a Somali pirate for a few hours , anyway Somalis using Russian guns is cultural appropriation.
Oh man,....... The true kill-joy with this gun is the lack of full auto mode and no blowback. LOL Great video BTW
There are plenty of airsoft GBBR (gas blow-back rifles, 6mm plastic balls) AKs with full auto and blowback.
What's more, the mags are far more convenient to fill with BBs and gas (green gas/propane).
I don't know if these files for 4.5mm steel balls have any advantages to airsoft guns, but surely seem far less convenient and more dangerous.
Well crossman solved this problem lol
and the facr the magazine only holds 18 bbs instead of 30 or 25 like the real AKs😂
Anyone know know where I can get a fun pin?
I've very satisfied with my airgun MP-40 in 4.5mm, it has blowback, is relatively powerful and accurate, and is easily moddable to full-auto ;)
Placing the weapon with the charging Handle down like that has definitely earned you some press ups
"Nah... just kidding" Sir you're the best Airguns personality I have seen on YT.
You are the favorite English cousin I wish I had. Air guns are a major passion of mine. Thanks for all the great advice. I have the AGT Vixen Short 177, the Sig P365, the Sig Sauer MCX Virtus and the Baba Yaga, all thanks to your suggestions.
Extremely cool item. Having purchased one of these a number ago when they first appeared I can confirm that it is just like a real AK on the outside. Unfortunately the performance was very poor so either mine had issues or they’ve improved them since.
This is not a replica of an AK 47, but rather a type 56 which is a chinese made copy and even more prolific than the original AK. Like the russian Yunker airguns it seems to use many parts of the original type 56/AK, the only thing it is missing is a copy of Mao's little red book.
does the charging handle work
@@sploofy4878 yes, the charging handle does work as the gun has a dummy bolt and gas piston. It won't effect how the gun operates however.
no it's not, check stock rake and front sight and it's clearly a AK47 replica.
Just a bit of history.
During the Rhodesian war in the 1970s, a particular Rhodesian soldier was wounded twice, once very badly by AK fire.
Many years later he met mikhael kalasnikov in person and told him of his experiences.
Kalasnikov expressed his surprise at his survival, apologized for the trauma caused, and gave the Rhodesian his AK engraved expensive wristwatch.
Good review, thanks Andy
It's more a replica of a Chinese Norinco Type-56 because it's made there. And there's no full auto version. The way how the mechanism works does not allow to do so. I can get approx 70 powerful shots with one CO2 during warm day. Cheers!
Looks awesome - hopefully later versions will be some type of blow-back action.
loving the videos, keep up the good work guys and girls. 😊
Managed to find one of these on the net the other day. Picking it up from my local dealer next day or too. Cant wait
I like the history lessons of your videos. OBLIGED.
They've virtually indestructible, which lead to the saying "An AK 47 will kill almost anything, but it's almost impossible to kill an AK47."
mud will, see inrangetv's mud test for proof of that.
I'm shocked at what a realistic replica it is. Thank you for the overview. My thumb is up
Fantastic reveiw ... be great for tin can bashing ... ( and trust me ill have plenty too shoot after this weekends boozing session )
Fantastic Review Andy , yes very real looking . I bought one from my local gun shop . Iam well impressed. Love your shows. Thank You 😊 for your hard work . Cheers Simon from York 🌟
Hi Simon, where in York sells airguns? I'm going up that way soon and I always check out the local airgun shops when I visit places.
Awesome review, cracking plinker and very realistic atb Carl
Wow thats so realistic , thanks for sharing, Cheers
Rambo Andy, great review as ever thank you, what a beautiful looking replica rile that is,surprising how accurate it was as well. Thanks Andy keep up the great work ATB.
Great review. You have earned a new subscriber 👍
You have a great way of presenting Information.
Got mine last week for £200 it’s great
Where
imagine plinking in your back yard, one of your neighbours sees it and calls it in,i reckon the" shoot first and question later" mode would be the old bill`s response.
Especially with me. Just the thought of the opportunity would delight them no end.
This would be great for the backyard plinkers.
This gun kinda reminds me of the Thompson"TommyGun", the way its shaped in the stock end, & sort of thruout the body, & even the barrel area..... 🔥💯🙏
Best channel on youtube!!!!!
Absolutely love it
I have the fully automatic airsoft version, battery operated...I love it.
@Massimo Hack yea I said airsoft version
Had one of these for a few years now and as you said in the review very realistic in both weight and feel, the butt stock on mine has been removed and modified for the metal folding stock and i replaced the upper receiver cover for one with a picatinny rail for a 4x scope, definitely a keeper.
Where do I get it I can't find it on cyber gun website
Where you get it?
I don't think you can buy them anymore.
Great video Andy as always after watching the airguns for junior's would do a video on the daisy 880 as with the power and price thought it make a cheap mouse gun round the bird table also I agree with you amazing replica but to be used with caution.
On a gen AK the first notch on the safety is F/A not semi. Apart from the barrel foresight & sling mount it's a dead ringer for a Romanian AKM
i have one a superb review, well worth the cost!
Your presentation is unmatched, liked and subscribed
Brilliant review all. Professionally presented and edited. Great to see something other than a glock in the masters hands. I did love the safety statement at the beginning. It realy does does look like the real thing
AS ALLWAYS EXCELLENT WHEN THIS I ASSUMED IT WOULD ONLY 4.4 AND S,I GEL ACTION
Looks like a fun plinking tool.
Interesting fact....
The receiver on these airguns, are actually illegal in the USA!
They actually have the holes in the action that allow the full-auto trigger set to fit... 🤯🤯
How would it be illegal if it's a BB gun? The only way you could get this to fire real rounds is if you completely gutted it and put in the internals of an actual AK, and even then the construction of the gun might not be good enough, as it doesn't need to withstand much pressure at all. I don't see how outfitting it with a full-auto trigger would make it illegal
great vid great gun
Can the wood pieces be swapped out for genuine ones, the polymer ones for example?
NICE GREAT REPLICA OF THAT GUN
In the USA this gun is severely illegal, but the reason may surprise you.....
The receiver is a genuine AK item and contains the holes that the full auto sear mounts to... that makes it illegal in the USA, ain't that weird...
As an American, hearing people say "don't let the cops see you with what they think is a gun" is so strange to me.
As a Brit it’s strange to me that it’s possible to literally be shot dead by a cop during a routine traffic stop
Bro dressed like he's ready for camp😂😂
I wish so hard they would make an SVD dragunov in .22 at 12 ft lb I have been trying to convert my Air soft for years lol
Just stunning
Nice shemagh mate, just bought myself a new one from kombatuk.
Enjoy the video and don’t forget to visit www.vector-air.co.uk and aar-OnAir.com see you next week. Follow us on facebook.com/andyairgunreviews
Hey Andy! I have a quite important question, i don't know if you know about whats in the American market, but is there any quality bolt action CO2 powered bolt action rifles chambered in 4.5mm steel BB's? i'm completely stumped, i have almost every WW2/WW1 repilca, my newest is my C96 Mauser Broomhandle pistol, and my proudly British Webley MK VI (I love the UK lol) and i've looked and looked and just cannot find a quality (or any for that matter) bolt action CO2 rifle, can you help?
I had a real one with the folding stock that went straight Around the grip and magazine. It made it look like it had no stock at all. People don’t realize how small the real thing is with no stock. That’s what made them amazing for a gm that shoots a 7.62x39 round. I miss that gun so much. I even have a tattoo of it. If I cold find a replica with that folding stock or be able to put one on I would buy it in a heartbeat.
Hoooooo....I had one as well at national service but it's called AMD 47 M65. Short barrel side folded stock not under and 30 round magazine.
I did dig a hole with it and been told to clean the barrel with the first shot.
Excellent design and engineering !
All in all the gun in the video is worryingly looks like the real!
Dude just get a japanese gbb replica. Top notch quality, affordable and realistic function, take down and blowback. No f...... Given.bthats the best for you in therms of replica
It's not the the Type-56-I you might have had but cybergun has an airgun AK-74u with a side-folding stock!
The AK wasn't present in the Falklands but I think you're right, there's been a version of it in every other war I can think of.
Спасибо за обзор, товарищ!
Добавь еще на Английском, а то он ничего не поймет =)
awesome
I'm looking to get a muzzle for mine and I have no idea what size it takes , any ideas ?
This is a good copy. Looks like a Czechoslovak one. Falklands War didn't feature this gun - only one I can't think of.
The UK is such a kill-joy when it comes to toy's
The only thing missing was Rebecca holding the gun 😄 you know the whole babe's with gun thing 😉😉. Great review keep up the good work.
😂
Good luck finding one now...
I bought a black , gearbox , full auto , AK 47 , and while I love the look of it , it dry fires ALOT . It IS a beautiful gun , though , just a fantastic looking piece of machinery for sure . Now that I have that one , I kind of like the wooden ones now , alot more . Hmmmmmm........what to do ? I know , I'll buy one of those , too .
could you please review the Crosman AK1?
Not to be seen in the public badass weapon, probably the most feared weapon since the Viking longsword or the Scottish kilt. Had a few rounds over my nut from 7.62, if you into modern firearms, buy this replica, weapon of the 20th century.X UK Armed forces.
Is there any way you can put links to where I can buy the guns you review
Its looks rather small, is that just because of your larger hands or because its not true to scale?
I tried finding the semi/full auto co2 version but had no luck. Anyone know who sells them ? I can't believe they aren't everywhere considering how much of an icon this gun is. I've seen electric versions but no thanks.
where did you get it from??
Wish we lived close so you could review my full auto Crossman Ak1 4.5 mm.
Empty genuine AK compatible mags actually fit into these. I would suspect that the manufacturer has more or less replicated the tooling or like yunkers used some actual parts. Obviously not the important bits thankfully! AK top covers fit too, I bought one secondhand with a pic rail. Clips right on like it's made for it
The receiver, top cover return spring and all the woodwork is actually real chinese type 56 parts, apparently they caused a bit of bother when imported into the US & Canada because of the 3 hole full auto receivers. Not sure if that's the case with later ones 🤔
Andy you make me laugh. For all the right reasons though as that staging, and your dress, at the start nearly made me spit my tea out with laughter. Another great review as I have come to expect from you. Very thorough and informative. Regards.
Where can I buy this gun but it has full auto?
Where can I get one of these in the U.S.?
Can you tell what company builds it? Brand name?
This is so authentic. I got a canvas cover and sling from ukraine and brought an original metal magazine and attacket it with a dremmel to fit the gas inside
Excellent yet again, I would buy a galil if they made one
I want a No 4 Lee Enfield.
Beautiful replica but its an AKM not AK47.
@ASFvsASAP 1 Muzzle is the same, note the small indent above mag, that makes it a pressed steel AKM. The Milled Receiver AK47 had a much larger indenr about same length as mag well.
Type 56 actually, has a vented gas port, but is missing the fully hooded front sight
The fit and finish is better than some rea ones
Is this for sale in US?
I love it i want one of these replicas really bad good worrk
What's the price of one of these ?
The build of it sounded good. Wood and all. Sweet!
Kinda bummed that it does not have blowback (and therefore no fullauto option either I'd say).. but with a blowback movement that long (if had) would need lots of gas, so better off without I guess. Not bad accuracy either. Apparently made in a AK firearms factory and therefore uses partially same parts as the original - which gives the airgun a way high awesomeness factor.
The Finnish army's assault rifle is based upon the AK, so it would be really nice to own one of these. Nice that the magazine is also quite correctly flipped in with the front side first and not just pushed in like on AR-15s and likes..
..But 399€ is a bit too high of a price for me.. [Looked just up at a Finnish webshop that sells this one]
Hi there, yes, that was my understanding that they were from the same factory. I’ve reviewed the makarov pistols, which were also made in the original factory, that review will be released soon. Thanks for your comments and thanks for watching.
@@AAROnair That looks like the Cybergun Type 56, they are made in China and are reputed to use a lot of the same parts as they original, but the parts are obviously modified so as to be unusable in a real one. The ones made in Izhmash factory in Russia are no longer available the last being the Yunker 4, they now only make an electric powered air soft version. You do great reviews Andy, always like them!
hi, im an avid collector of militaria and co2 replica guns, I heard you say in the video that the ak47 would be an instant/ideal gun for a re-enactor, but here in the uk you need written permission to take an air weapon on to someone elses property even if its unloaded. so with that in mind, you would be ok at a re-enactment thing with a deactived weapon but surely if you have in your possession in public an air weapon without written permission its classed as armed trespass?. sorry to be a nerd about it but its worth considering if that's what you are buying it for, cheers. ( great reviews btw) @@AAROnair
Can you order this in California
Could you please link me the page to buy one!
Thats a 5.45mm mag with a ak74 compensator?
Where can I get one what’s this gun called?
Where's the cleaning rod?
Where can i buy one of these
i want that air gun here in norway cost about 3000 norwegian Kr more than i have ever used on a air gun but i gonna need to save some money :)
How do I get this in the USA
but u cannot find it anymore.
Im a Csgo Player So My Fav Gun Is Only Ak47 And Desert Eagle, Even Minigun Cant Make Me Satisfying.
Where do I buy this?
I really hope Cybergun bring out an M4 variant in .177.
@@FlyboyHelosim mate, that's exactly what I want.
Thanks
@@FlyboyHelosim What's your opinion of it ? Also, how easy would it be to remove the white markings on the receiver?
@@FlyboyHelosim I was thinking of using a mild stripper to take off the paint and hopefully leave the blueing underneath intact.
Either that or strip the whole thing down and cerakote it.
I mainly want it for realism and a bit if back yard bean can plinking with my boy
@@garystorey Just remove the dodgy trades and wether in strategic places, no need to cerkote, AK's look far better 'well used'.
@@crewgadjy Nobody mentioned an AK in this thread...
Where can I get one ?
Where!! Would one buy this???
When loading bbs if it doesnt fall to the base, don't be tempted to tap the top of the mag. it will fire. Don.t ask me how I know this. One eyed Jake
Ahhhhhh that sucks you can only get semi auto bb guns too?
Arma linda""
Can these even still be found? I've looked but see it being sold out everywhere or discontinued
i hope not id love one of these
Is only in the uk mate I’m lucky 😂
Yeah, I'll have to start looking around!
RIP the Queen 👑
That really does look goid. Andy, is there a replica SLR out there? I'd love to see a review on that.
That would be good. We have had replicas of M16/M4's, AK's, all it needs is an SLR.
Can I get a link for the full auto us version.... I need this in my collection and cannot find this replica....
Good luck. Only way you're getting one is if somebody like me sells theirs on ebay. The last one I saw posted sold for $990.00.
Pub Plays get a real gun for that price
