It was super easy to follow along with your video. You have a simple approach to your craft and that helps when people who aren’t specialized in this field don’t know what you’re talking about 😂 and I am one of those people. Good work but here's a couple things to note: that seam will always stick out like a sore thumb, should've taken out that entire piece of hardwood. Also use construction adhesive instead of wood glue, wood glue gets really hard so that new piece of flooring will eventually start squeaking.

I'm curious if the glue on the underlayment is necessary for proper adhesion of the wood.
