Saw him play with Harold Danko at Birdland in 92. I was attending Manhattan School of Music Jazz Camp. The music they played was so modern it was like being submerged at Sea and suddenly being able to understand Dolphins and Whales. Harold also played with Chet Baker. He was probably one of the funniest guys I met that summer, but all the instructors were extremely Hip and told the most incredibly funny stories.
