South Africa 2010 had the most unique energy out of all of the world cups. It's still one of my favorite world cups of all time because I got to witness it when I was a kid and my country made it to the semifinals.

I remember getting on the train with my cousins to Cape Town Station. We started singing Shosholoza in our carriage, much to the delight of the tourists😁. I remember getting off that train into a river of people, the deafening sound of vuvuzelas and just genuine jubilation. We gathered in the City centre and sang our anthem (France was playing on that day!) and jammed to "Make the circle bigger" afterwards. One of the best days of my life!
