Owned an auto Tekna for 4years dealers are terrible but, 50k on brakes, 40k on tyres, 40mpg at 65mph much thirstier around town, 4wd system fault light appears when voltage falls(think that's the cause) Adblu sensor went (happens to all new cars) steering pump started leaking and the media centre started looping replaced under warranty, that's it 80k miles later its going. New N-Guard on order..
What they fail to tell potential buyers is that the 4WD system is not permanent - ie you can't engage it when you are driving on roads as it doesn't have the advanced diffs to manage. If you do it will damage the drivetrain. This is a real pain as when driving in winter, you're not able to use 4WD on wet & potentially slippery icy roads (in case they're not slippery!) I wish I had gone for the Mitsubishi L200 now.........
Mate of mine bought one of theses the other day , I said he should have bought a bt50 for the work load he was going to do , he laughed at me at the time. A few months later we court up at a bbq , asked how the new ute was going..... he said yeah mmm well err .... I said yeah I know it's a bling ute not a working mans ute !!!
Zackariah Gill :don't get wrong it's a nice Ute but not up the for load hauling /weight loading dew to the coil spring diff ,this was noted under Aussie testing but as a road going Ute it's very nice big improvement over the old Nissan
it's the number 1 truck in my country over quite literally anything else but we are pretty average over here so it's grate for what we use it for daily
All the utes these days are far better than they were 5-7 years ago that's for sure and the comfort and ride/ handling are streets ahead and models for all walks of life .
nice looking truck and interior and good mpg but thats about it i have just got a new hi spec one as company transport yesterday and i would change it today for a base modle hilux if i could its like driving the old navara with a new body on it . / just another tarmac truck that will not last nissaan give us the patrol pick up ithats tough work truck
I see they have belatedly fitted some chassis strengthening in case their redesign from the D40 goes pear shaped and they can't use their Chinese steel mill excuse for the chassis snapping. I can't understand anyone now trusting Nissan products or their word. Our 2012 D40 goes in 4th April so, yes I have an axe to grind but obviously we'll never buy another Nissan nor trust them when they "promise" the new chassis won't rot and snap in half like the D40. If you still want to buy one then l'm guessing you believe in The Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus and the cheque is in the post.
done 4000 miles in mine now and and if i come across afew bumps in the tarmac i feels like the body is going to fall off the back springs a weaker than the front ( and this is a pickup ? ) and like loyd says same weak frame with some braces welded on . head lights are very poor i have had mk 3 landrovers with better lights . dark rear view mirror dark rear window hard to see thourgh at night then a cam comes on and when you move back and takes away what view you had away its kind a ok pick up if you dont need a pickup the only good nissans are built in japan / patrol /370z / gtr / not the renault navara
Got automatic version,,6mths use now,,very impressed.

We can use 4wd on 4H under speed limit 100 km/hr,That 's enough for the wet road condition.
I do it all the time in a manual 2015 D23
I loved this car; for people likes modifications i recommend Dobinsons MRR and ARB Air Locker
MUITO,MUITO BOA ! QUE PENA QUE AQUI NO BRASIL NÃO TENHA A NISSAN NAVARA ?

... the ATM in hilux is bad and doesn't suit to the engine and Hiluyx has a ugly design !!!
