Fabulous review guys! And one I totally agree with, it's still my favourite pick-up despite driving the others. Can't wait to get my NP300 in a couple of weeks when the D40 goes for its chassis inspection and spend a week with it. At least I will be towing Glynnis so the towbar won't be an issue. Nice job :)
@@nathanreid2974 I believe you're referring to the crash test between the South African hardbody as opposed to the European navara? Not the same vehicles the European NP300 has a an exceptional rating all round.
Well have collected our automatic gearbox truck with top box and tow bar, we even had the optional extra sunroof. Same colour as your video and the Techna model. It's absolutely great to drive
Great review guys, very professional presentation, you just get better. Navara nice too, I changed my tow car two years ago so not in the market but it would be on my short list.
Another great review you two and a pretty competitive great looking pick-up, if that’s your cuppa! What means the tow-ball is not Al-ko Karina? Cheers, Rog... 👍🏻 😉 🐍
At last you did a review on the navara same as ours, We love it for towing the buccaneer commodore and my wife uses it for work each day. A great car all round thanku for the review
Awesome reviews guys, I have been umming and arring for a couple of months over the Navara and after your review I am sold. I will say I have been to Bristol Street Motors and Sandicliffe and to say the sales staff lose all interest the minute you mention its a commercial vehicle your interested in is an under statement. I have been left to look myself and not even managed to get a price or spec yet it driving me mad lol. I assume there is not a lot of commision in a pickup. Thanks again guys, I love your videos and this has helped me no end.
Thanks for watching Daryl, don’t let bad customer service put you off buying a Nissan Navara as it’s a very good vehicle. We had a similar experience when we were looking in winter last year. All the best with whatever you choose 👍
@@HereWeTow thanks guys I am persistent lol so won't let it put me off. I'm a customer service manager so you can imagine it grinds on me when your almost ignored when your trying to give a company money.
Great presentation and review guys. Not the kind of vehicle that appeals to us though even if we were towing a caravan. Personal choice of course. Thanks for all the detailed information 😊 Trev n Sue.
Great review, I have always been a fan of the Nissan Navara it's a tremendous work horse and exceptional value. I would love to see it with the back box on so you can put your stuff in and lock it and not panic about it getting stolen at traffic lights. 👍🏻
Another fabulous tow vehicle review. A fan of pick ups myself, I’ve enjoyed this series of reviews. Was that Kassam stadium sign I spotted? Travelling A34 through Oxford?
Hi guy's another great info video looks like u done your home work there very nice truck wouldn't mind one myself u guys work well together cheers as always .kev
Great review guys, mine has been ordered and should be with me in couple of weeks, I was worried if I should of ordered the L200, however all doubts have gone after watching your review,,,
Great review guys I want one in white with auto transmission, I just need to convince Karen that it's better than our aging Mitsubishi L200 animal. Best wishes Jon and Karen
Cheers for the review it was of great interest because i) we're considering one for our new tow car ii) my Wife is a smaller lady and she is a little worried about how good a fit for her it might be - think the 360° camera system will certainly help with manoeuvring.... for us both. iii) Fuel economy is very appealling. With a bit of searching you can pick up one of these in this spec for just under £26k Thanks again 😀
I have had 4 Navara’s, I’m only 5ft have have no problems with any of them apart from a bit of a blind spot with the current one with the drivers side mirror.
I've done a lot of research on these and the Renualt Engine timming chain and crankshaft issues along with the chassis corrosion appear to be a thing of the past thankfully.
The Boot Liner on the Navara Tekna isn’t a standard (says it is at 3 mins in). It comes as bare metal as standard. The front and rear parking sensors are also not standard on the Tekna model. Only the 360 camera
Thanks Dean, if I recall I was going from the information provided in the press pack but I cannot go back and check that now. Thanks for commenting 😊 Karina
Here we Tow I have a feeling even their brochure isn’t accurate. I’ve ordered one, and saw on your review the liner was standard but then have since found out it’s not. For the Tekna 4 reverse sensors are listed as included, but then further on the same brochure it says they’re an option for the Tekna. I’m expecting to have to fight for them if they’re not there when my lease arrives. As they did list the sensors.
Great review and really like this newer Navara. I am hearing some comments about caravan manufacturers warranty being effected if you tow with a pickup, anyone clear this up for me and what about towball height? Thanks
Thank you Tom, several UK manufacturers did have this in their small print although I believe many have removed this now. You would have to ask a dealer for the warranty document. The Navara doesn’t have the leaf suspension which i think was the issue before with damage potentially being caused to the caravan chassis. I personally dont know of anyone having a warranty claim issue from a commercial vehicle, apart from Facebook and you read all sorts on there. The Navara is a great all rounder 😊 Karina
The cheapest start with the Isuzu, Ssangyong and Navara..about £25,000 with vat I would estimate. There is the Great Wall brand but im not sure if they are still available due to emissions
Thanks for watching and commenting Craig, we have asked the question but had no reply at the moment so will wait and see. It was one that we wanted to finish with but will see. Thanks for commenting.
Thanks for watching and commenting, as we say in the review there is a lot of vehicle for the money. It was a great vehicle to review. Hope it has given you some food for thought. All the best. 😊👍
I really like mine 2019 ( i have a 18ft boat and 4 trailers), but , the faults are , strange gearing ( no doubt engine size being a factor) , adblue is a pain in the arse , first fill up under 1000 miles, passenger seat isnt electric (cheapskates) , something wrong with the air system , it keeps resetting when I turn the engine off , when towing down hill the impact sensor keeps triggering. Road tires make the low range 4 wheel drive irrelevant , a little bit of mud and you are stuck.. Over all a good choice, but if they offered me a Patrol I would give it up in an instant.
£30,000 + for a pickup,£30,000+ for a top of the range caravan. Jeez. I think things are just getting away from the spirit of caravanning. Great review as always, but not sure it’s relevant to the average Joe.

If you are still in mind of getting one, don't get one as the accident report is pritty bad, google nissan np300 crash test

I am sure you will enjoy it Ken, the Navara is an excellent pick-up and nice to drive. Safe motoring and enjoy your new car 👍 Karina
why is this channel so underestimated
Good real world review, thanks.

Thanks Jon, test drive one, hopefully Karen will be won over 👍
Nice review, but would like to see it towing a caravan. Can’t really compare a possible empty box trailer to a laden caravan.

Mark Whitmore I’d also say fuel economy is more around 31 mpg.
Get you some 'o that! Another faultless review people, although your new caravan is a bit pants! 😄
All the best,

Are you not keen on the Nissan. I know it doesn’t have a bedroom but you can’t be harsh on it for that. 😊😊👍
Like the Nissan, but no windows in ya caravan 🤔
It’s new for 2020 😉
Great review, better than the Ford Ranger Wildtrack? 👍
This one for Karina and Wildtrack for me 👍
Hi I had a 2012 Navarra . Cost me an absolute fortune in repair bills . Hope they have improve their build quality . They had a terrible reputation

UNA CHINGONERIA DE CAMIONETA
buen día, muchas gracias por mirar y comentar que es bueno escuchar lo que se llama en otros países.
Will you be testing the Ssangyong Musso XLV when it comes to the UK? I like the Musso but holding off buying until the long wheelbase comes to the UK.
Thanks for watching and commenting Craig, we have asked the question but had no reply at the moment so will wait and see. It was one that we wanted to finish with but will see. Thanks for commenting.
I read somewhere they have gone bust.! Not sure of the truth in it though.
this car is amazing but it does not have 6 speed transmition it has 7
It’s a manual?
I’m looking for a pickup ,for throwing two bikes and a dog into the back.this is very nice

Is this available in the USA?
Yes I believe it is called the Frontier in the USA but I don’t know much more than that. I hope that helps.

Hi Andy it doesn’t matter what you do these days everything is expensive. Sometimes I feel like I’ve been picked up by the ankles and shaken.
Hi Colin, I’m sure most of it is oneupmanship, mines bigger and more expensive than yours etc.

this my car lol
