- Col. (ret.) Lawrence Wilkerson's last positions in government were as Secretary of State Colin Powell's Chief of Staff (2002-05), Associate Director of the State Department's Policy Planning staff under the directorship of Ambassador Richard N. Haass, and member of that staff responsible for East Asia and the Pacific, political-military and legislative affairs (2001-02).
Before serving at the State Department, Wilkerson served 31 years in the U.S. Army. During that time, he was a member of the faculty of the U.S. Naval War College (1987 to 1989), Special Assistant to General Powell when he was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (1989-93), and Director and Deputy Director of the U.S. Marine Corps War College at Quantico, Virginia (1993-97). Wilkerson retired in 1997 and began work as an advisor to General Powell. He has also taught national security affairs at the George Washington University.

Israeli generals might be somewhat worried about Iran's capabilities but not Netyanhu. He is absolutely willing to sacrifice his people (while his son lounges on a Miami beach) if it will save his hide. A true psychopath.
He's willing to sacrifice America too.....
He is more of a narcissist Ben G'vir is the true psychopath completely unhinged holding Nettanyahu by the throat. Hope Assange is let free the position of the Australian has i think made a difference within the UK.
Netanhahu's one and only concern is Netanyahu. In this moment he is swollen to bursting with his own self-importance.
His son's a hostage. Miami is the largest CIA station in the world.
Netanyahu would sacrifice his own mother to stay in power and out of jail... He will not think of mankind, only of himself, saving his own skin...
They are fools. Col Wilkerson hit the nail on the head.
Which nail? Who's head?
Are they doing okay?
I didn't take Wilkerson to be a violent person.😮
I would like to take this a step further.

The reason that Zelensky has survived is because his masters have allowed it, the minute Zelensky goes against his masters is when he will be found epsteined.
That's the one statement Wilkerson made about Zelensky that was a bit silly, about how he's a survivor and could be a hero.
It's that mentality that makes people not take you seriously
Yup and we know what they will say Russia did that lol
u just coined a great slang word, "epsteined" clever of u😘

If Israel ”goes nuclear” it will be interesting to hear the US explanation on why they have broken laws by exporting weapons to them. Nobody will believe that they did not know that Israel had nukes…
I think in that case it will be so far into this that noone will bother with explanation
Jonathan Pollard stole the US weapons secrets.
nah they will say israel has a right to self defence so nuclear weapons are ok. they will say they will investigate it to assess if it was a war crime or not, but wont condemn it until all the facts are in

Awesome dude!
He’s great! 👍
If any country on this world is radical enough that they could do it then it is either Israel or the USA. Iran won't do a first strike, Russia won't but the USA and Israel might when they are sufficiently desperate. The USA is the only country on this world which used this horrible weapon and opposite to what they said it was not to end a war with Japan and to avoid more death people, the USA had intel from England (eavesdropping of telecommunication) that Japan would surrender within weeks and was going to start negotiations, yet the USA dropped those 2 thermonuclear bombs. Those are facts. Now I will speculate about their motives: they wanted to do a fieldtest (there is no substitute for real people and buildings to see how it works) and they wanted to send an agressive signal to the rest of the world, a show of power. Though I find that it shows weakness if you build such a weapon and use it or consider using it.
Desperate and delusional. Sufficiently desperate, birds of a feather flock together.
Not thermonuclear.
Brilliant comment. Thank you.
Correct 👌🏾
@peterjansen4826 I read that they rushed the Hiroshima bomb to try it out before the war ended. Like you say not to end the war more to demonstrate to the world what US was capable of

As always, Colonel Wilkerson is spot on. Will Israel trigger the Samson option; that's a huge question with lasting ramifications, because Pakistan has already stated that if Israel were to go nuclear against Iran, Pakistan would make their arsenal available to Iran. And, the wild card is what will Russia do once those weapons were unleashed by Israel.

Another brilliant podcast Nima, thank you!
Col. Wilkerson always helps to put things into
proper context and proper perspective for us,
and he did a masterful job , in this interview!
His ability to deconstruct all the lies and
propaganda that we are bombarded with
daily , by both government and legacy
media, is quite remarkable. Col. Wilkerson
has a depth of understanding about a
diverse range of critically important
topics, that only a handful of those with
previous military or intelligence
community experience , also possess.
The comments he makes and viewpoints
he shares with us , are all the more relevant
as a result. It is striking that no one in
the Biden Administration , has comparable
skills to bring to the table. Their totally
inept and reckless handling of foreign
policy initiatives, therefore comes as no
surprise!
I think that the analysis that Col.
Wilkerson shared with us in this
podcast were quite informative,
highly accurate and showed great
insight, on his part. The Biden
Administration could desperately
use someone with Col, Wilkerson’s
abilities, to rely on before making
any decisions in foreign policy.
Sadly, no such individual currently
exists, to fill that role. I think in time
we will all suffer because of that
deficit.
Thank you for inviting Col. Wilkerson back as
a guest. We all greatly benefit from his
knowledge, experience and wisdom!
You are doing a terrific job, please keep
up the good work!
The Col said “smokin cheap stuff” haha love that guy.

Thank you, Colonel Wilkerson, for being so damn forthright 👍
Col Larry Wilkerson is a highly intelligent military analyst, thank you for your analysis.
An excerpt :
This strike was unprecedented for several important reasons. It was one of the most advanced and longest range peer-to-peer style exchanges in history. They conducted the first ever modern, potentially hypersonic, assault on an enemy with SRBMs and MRBMs across a vast multi-domain space covering several countries and timezones, and potentially as much as 1200-2000km.
Additionally, Iran did all this with potentially hypersonic weapons, which peeled back another layer of sophistication that included such things as possible endoatmospheric interception attempts with Israeli Arrow-3 ABM missiles.
___________
They call this the New Equation. Anytime Israel attacks them, Iran now intends to strike them ‘head on’, i.e. directly from its soil as is their newly demonstrated capability.
Beyond this, Iran broke new ground in setting new milestones for missile technology and modern warfare, as stated in the outset. Iran demonstrated the capacity to bypass the most powerful and advanced anti-missile systems in the world-ones that have no built-in excuse as is the case in Ukraine. In Ukraine, the excuse is that the Patriots and other systems are manned by under-trained Ukrainians, and are not reinforced and integrated as wholly into layered Western systems as they would be in Western hands.
But last night, Iran penetrated every missile shield manned and operated by NATO itself, with all the trappings and advanced C4ISR and SIGINT capabilities inherent to the entire Western alliance; from THAAD, to Patriot, David’s Sling, Arrow-3, SM-3, Iron Dome, and even ‘C-Dome’ from Israeli corvettes-not to mention the entire complement of the West’s most advanced A2A defenses flown from F-35s, Typhoons, Eurofighters, and likely much more.
One must understand that ballistic missiles are precisely the apex predator that these most advanced Western AD systems were created to handle-and last night, they failed spectacularly in the same way the Patriots did in Desert Storm before them:
This sends a signal that Iran is now truly capable of striking any of the most high profile, high value targets of the West’s, in the entire sphere of the Middle East, within a radius of 2000-4000km. That is a significant capability that dwarfs even anything Russia or the U.S. itself is capable of in the same efficient way. Sure, Russia can send Avangards (very few, and highly expensive) and far slower long range cruise missiles, but due to the Treaty, no other country can match Iran’s cheap and immediate ballistic missile capability. The U.S. would have to send up a load of slow planes and do the traditional long range stand off attacks with slow munitions to hit targets at such distances.

👌Col. Wilkerson.
What is it about Colonels in the U.S. military? Colonel Wilkerson, Colonel MacGregor, Lt. Colonel Davis. They seem to be the only ones making sense these days. Perhaps Colonel is the highest rank you can go and still maintain your integrity. Anyway, I am very, very thankful for truth speaking Colonels!!
Colonel Klink?
Sanders for sure.
I don't understand Netanjahu. He behaves like a radical, not like a democrat 😢😢😢 He escalates instead to find solutions 😞😟
He’s pandering to the ultra Orthodox Jewsish nationalists, who are keeping him in power.
Israel is a criminal supremacist regime disguised as a western democracy. A real decent democracy would had put ballots instead of bombs and would had sort the palestinian problem decades ago. A real democracy would have engaged in joint projects with the palestinians, for infrastructure, education, healthcare and so on, and then it would have promoted a referendum for the palestinians to vote integration inside Israel as an autonomous region, or have their own state, already in 1967. But Israel has chosen the path of mass murder, land grab, arbitrary detention, apartheid, from day one. It's so sad that americans have opened their eyes to the reality of Israel now that it's too late. 9/11, Afghanistan, Iraq... all would have been avoided.
He believes in nothing at all.

Unlike many channels covering these topics, analysis of events is NOT enough.
We need to understand how events may affect the evolution of these wars and whether we are heading for a nuclear WW3 and/or whether chances for Peace are increasing or decreasing.

The Persian empire is back and it needs to be taken seriously before it turns into a much wider conflict that would defeat the west
why is possibility of a military coup not an option to avoid going down the path of no return? is it because its undemocratic or there is no difference in ideology between the idf and politicians there?
Israeli understand what will happen once Iran has developed their nuclear weapons. So they rather get into a war now before it's too late. And of course they'll need to drag the US into it cause Israel doesn't have the means to overthrow the Iranian regime and end their nuclear program.

America faces the challenge of excessive spending on war and building bases worldwide, while domestic needs remain unmet. Instead of directing funds towards building a better future for our citizens, they are often spent on maintaining military forces abroad.
Redirecting these resources to domestic projects could bring huge benefits, boosting economic growth, innovation, and prosperity in America. Rather than focusing on war, America could become a leader in addressing domestic challenges such as climate change, infrastructure needs, education, and healthcare.
The urgency of national unity is crucial in overcoming these obstacles and moving towards a brighter future. With collective efforts, America can change its priorities and set a true example to the world in the pursuit of progress and prosperity.

I replied, there's no need to, I know what I'm doing, I know how it functions and it will work so, I'm putting it back together. Those countries that do small testing for nuclear weapons understand this premise and the rest of the world needs to know they've got their finger on the button because even if a few fail there will be many that don't ¿`_

Regarding David Cameron, I think we are misjudging the British position. My opinion is that HMG are publicly backing Israel while privately telling them to calm down, not attack Iran again and that they have very very limited support. This is why Cameron has just arrived again in Israel. This latest journey makes no sense if HMG are backing Israel and it makes no sense if Israel really DOES have the support is would appear in public. Diplomacy does not happen in tv studios :)
Not impossible.

Why would they ever believe that there would be negotiations in good faith, after all the betrayals.
Why would they believe that international law can punish impunity?
Can't forget that the Israel leadership think that they have god on their side. When things get their worse, god will show up and save the day.

Larry’s assumption that Iran will be alone with China and Russia there is off the mark and thinking that Russia would trust UN troops to keep the peace doesn’t make sense either. Very smart man surprised this isn’t obvious.
