One thing I really do appreciate about shinobue is it’s notation. I am learning ocarina at the same time, and reading sheet music for me is pretty difficult. Tablatures are probably the most common way to learn ocarina songs for beginners, but it sure does feel like a cheat. With shinobue, the number notation is so cohesive, easy to learn and remember. No tabs required!
I'm really happy to hear that! I always wondered if using the shinobue notation might feel awkward to people who don't use kanji... but I am thrilled to hear that you like it! Thank you for sharing your experience, Toothless!
@@MikiShinobue the Kanji is very very easy to remember, seeing at it is only 1-8 and the first 3 are super self-explanatory. For me, what makes them so easy to remember is that the numbers simply represent how many fingers are lifted from the holes.
This song made me learn kan on by trial and error but that daikan on is another story... But i learned how kan on feels like, so i just have to perfect it and then I try it again

Yes, make sure your Ryo on is beautiful, then your kan on will be beautiful. When your ryo on and kan on are beautiful, your dai kan on will appear!!
