I agree.... too much figures... instead of dancing to the music.. they focused more on the figures... feel the music.. especially with a live band... :) yess.. Robotic is right.. I'm sure the girl got some sabor but with all those figures continuesly it's hard for a girl to move naturally all thruought the song.. :)
Some comments say there are too many turns in this dance, too technical, too much show off...but they are dancing to a song that is very aggressive and calls for this type of dancing imo...if someone danced with "Feeling" and sensuality to a song like this I think it would look ridiculous.

No hay un patrón para bailar salsa nadie escribió un libro de como se baila si con vueltas o con movimientos , es cuestión de gusto el baile es libre, nadie tiene derecho de autor, lo demás es bla bla bla solo hay dos cosas que se pueden decir con todo derecho : ME GUSTA O NO ME GUSTA.
he leído aquí que en el on2 hay que marcar... no veo que marquen mucho. por lo menos él, está pa' bailar mas balet que salsa. ella, por su parte, aunque marca, parece que le gusta despeinarse mas que bailar. wow, hubo un momento ahí que pensé que el patico iba a salir volando... cuidao'!
crisilsa la salsa es Cubana, Columbiana, Puerto Riceno, etc etc - hay muchos estilos. Salsa Puerto Riceno is muy differente que Salsa Cubano. There's a lot of misinformation flowing around from people who think they know when they don't. Balias las salsa? Sabes con 100% certimiento que sabes las differencias? The roots of salsa are not just Cuban ;-)
Don't get me wrong. I love Cali styling,,,but it reminds me of Lindy Hop. There is little time and room for seduction and styling. These guys know how to do it. The band sounds not as tight as it usually is in person.
pero lo que bailan en Cali zapateando es totalmente diferente a salsa on1 or on2 si bailas zapateando no puedes ir a los Congresos de NY, Puerto Rico y bailar con nadie si miras los videos de profesionales bailando salsa nadie baila a lo Caleño el baile de ustedes no es internacional compruebalo en los videos te aconsejo que veas el maestro Eddie Torres, Tito Ortos, Giselle Ponce, Oliver Pineda etc videos de como se baila alrededor del mundo la salsa pq la forma de Cali no es
No veo veo sabor en tantas vueltas, es más cuando uno le da vuelta al otro, se la pasa caminando, el bailador hasta solito hace baile, muchos de estos pasos son copias de tango y acrobacias.

mucha técnica, pero nada de baile, vueltas espectaculares fuera de tempo, la salsa o son cubano como quieran llamarle se goza, se baila, no se payasea con vueltas solamente, desafortunadamente en muchos lugares ya es lo que hacen, y lo peor es que piensa que eso es bailar, es mi opinión.

La salsa se originó en NY en los 60's y 70's... Es un mezcla de Jaz, ritmos latinos y afroantillanos...
