      That is a bummer- have you tried the one from Vanicream? It is similar but maybe it won't pill up like the Good Molecules did for you?

      @@NOBSBeauty I love it now!!! The ugly dry cast is the one that made my pores smaller. I thought it's bad but it's not. Use it at night, just put thick layer on ur bigpores & let it dry until u see a bit of white dry cast, then tomorrow u'll see ur pores are smaller & dehydrated but not flaky dry. The big result will show after 3 to 5 days. This product is not moisturizing or drying but it helps my big pores. It's like the discontinued Hylamide pore control that leave ur skin ashy white dry cast. I thought drying product is bad, but it's not. Do u know any product that balls up or leaving white dry cast on ur skin?

    Ooooo I’m intrigued. I’ve switched a lot of my regimen to Good Molecules due to their transparency and low prices …and please nobody reply to me with Lab Muffin’s video. I saw it and I respect her. But I personally want to see the percentage of everything, especially after getting the runaround by many Japanese brands which often refused to tell me the percentage of just the one active ingredient alone (such as retinol). Good Molecules sunscreen isn’t high enough SPF for me and they have a few gimmicky things like the pineapple powder. But I do love their night retinol serum, moisturizer, dark spot serum, and cleanser.

      You do know that the difference between spf30 and 50 is less than 2%. The higher the spf doesn’t mean higher or better protection it’s really about applying the correct amount and reapplication.

      @@simplybri3608 I’ve 40 and and well versed on most sunscreen studies due to having Melasma most of my life. Read the additional studies that show that SPF 50+ has a drastic increase for protection against pigmentation for those with Melasma and other pigmentation issues. I have severe Melasma and can confirm that there is a drastic difference between SPF 30 and 50 and 70 in terms of reoccurrence of my Melasma. Many well known studies and dermatologists have confirmed what my personal experience has shown all along. There may not be much of a difference in terms of protecting from burns, but there’s a world of difference for those with Melasma. I don’t need rehashing of outdated studies.

      @@simplybri3608 Get back to me when you read all the other studies, which I have due to having Melasma for decades l, and more years of personal experience with skincare than you’ve likely been alive. Those studies are talking about sun burns. But many other studies show that there is a DRASTIC increase in win prevention of Melasma with SPF 50+. My personal personal experience definitely backs this up. A few minutes of reading dermatologist blogs and published studies will show you this.

    You should try the Eucerin Anti-Pignent line. They use a patent ingredient called thiamidol alongside a few other more well-known brighteners. I always try new brightening ingredients because I am constantly battling old and new acne hyper pigmentation, and l noticed mild improvement on old (!) brown acne scaring and an overall brjghter skintone.

    Ferulic acid is added to a majoriry of vitamin c products because it amplifues/protects the integrity of the vitamin c.

    This looks really interesting....I've had good luck with the Good Molecules products I've tried. How does this compare to the Bubble Day Dream? I have oilier skin, and the Day Dream absorbes well and doesn't feel heavy....that would be my only concern. Thank you!

    This sounds interesting as regular vitamin c serums are not good on my sensitive skin. Can it be mixed with copper peptides? Thank you

    • @NOBSBeauty
      @NOBSBeauty  5 місяців тому

      So this would be a slightly controversial answer and I think if you asked five people you'd get five different answers. I tend to believe the reason not to mix copper peptides with other ingredients is due to the ph difference and the low pH product destroying the bonds of the Peptide. This is why you don't want to use that with exfoliants and ascorbic acid, they are usually used in formulas at a pH of 4 or less. Copper peptide serums are usually around 6. If your skin isn't too sensitive you could probably layer this as well as the copper peptides serum. I would probably use a neutral layer in between them just to avoid any issue. So typically what I'll do is apply the vitamin c serum, apply a hydrating serum (one that I love for this purpose is the Hyggee Natural Repair Serum or the Peach and Lily Glass Skin Serum) then apply the copper peptide serum. Let me know if you think of any other questions. I love talking about Peptides and vitamin c!

      It's got a nice texture to it. It actually kind of reminds me of the Paula's Choice Vitamin C and Glutathione Serum. The combo of brightening and vitamin c derivative in a lotion texture.

    So marketed as a Vitamin C serum that's not an actual vitamin c product.

    • @juhnetmickerdy

      All vitamin C derivative products are marketed as vitamin C But they explain in the description that it’s a derivative and we can see that in the ingredients list. Pure ascorbic acid is very difficult to formulate with because it’s highly unstable
