- I'm officially wrapping up my Disney College Program vlog series with this compilation of my time in the DCP:) Getting to be a pirate at Pirates of the Caribbean🏴☠️ in Disney World for my DCP was my dream program and I'm so happy I could take you guys along for some of it!
I'm super thankful for the people I met during my Disney College Program, my epic role in attractions, and the lessons I learned while working for Disney.
So enjoy this new addition to my home video series! My dad used to make home videos when I was a kid- he would put videos from our vacations to a song that meant something to us on that trip, and those simple videos from my childhood and the music associated with each trip still stay with me to this day. So now I finish up each major trip with a compilation of my favorite videos to a song that meant something to me on that trip.

Your attractions videos were finely detailed. Good content. Former CP here from the Spring Advantage 2020 group that had their program end due to COVID.
Just binge watched all of your Disney College program videos, as someone who never took the plunge for it I now have to live vicariously through channels like yours 😂 out of curiosity why did you stop making videos?
Haha glad to be of service 😂 I got pretty busy working during the program so didn’t make as many videos as I wanted to, and then decided to change career paths, I’m in flight attendant training right now!

Great series Paige! My family and I just got back from our first trip to Disney. This explains why it felt so magical for us. You all do a lot of hard work to make guests feel like guests! What’s next for you?! Are you going to ho back to Disney to pursue a career?!!

@@DareToElsewhere that’s great to hear! Best wishes to you! Gosh… it’s so tough to pick a favorite thing! We stayed at poly. It was top notch all around. The boat ride to and from MK was great. We loved how immersed in each part of the parks and rides you felt! The food was amazing everywhere! I loved how Americana and nostalgic it was. My son whoa turned 9 while we were there, requested and LOVED Hall of Presidents and Carrousel of Progress. Pirates was so good. Star Wars area was amazing! So hard to pick. But I do have to say… rope dropping MK our first morning was really magical. It felt intimate walking down Main Street seeing the castle and being 4 of about 400 people there at the time… 🥰
The Poly is the best!!! I used to go there just to get dole whip and hang out there 😁 Rope dropping sounds so magical, what a cool experience!
Are you still working there? Could you please make videos of other attractions to? Would be awesome.

Hiking, yes always:) Hospitality too, I just started a new job as a United flight attendant! So lots more adventures to come :)
Does the DCP help people with Severe Anxiety Disorders like, Social issues, mental health, and something that so embarrassing to say as a 30 year old, Separation From Your Parents LONG DISTANCE? 😖😖🥺🥺
Hey, I've been researching the DCP out of curiosity. I'm currently a high school student, but the program looks like such a unique experience. I was wondering; do people participate in the program even if they don't plan to work in the park in the future, or if it doesn't exactly align with their career goals? If the program doesn't change much, I think I'd like the life and work experience, but it's quite unnecessary as I live in Pennsylvania and depending on my college path, it doesn't look to be super beneficial. I'm just considering my options and dreams lol. Also, your videos are great! :)
Thanks!:) Yeah, I would say it’s about 50/50, some go as a start to their Disney careers and some go just for fun and for the experience! Even if you aren’t trying to work with Disney long term, I’ve heard it looks great on a resume regardless because the Walt Disney Company is a great ice breaker in an interview, and shows that you’re a solid, reliable, top tier employee even if you’re literally going into like nursing or something🤷🏻♀️ No employer is ever gonna be mad you have experience with one of the top companies in the world. Also some people just go for fun to make friends and get into the parks for free and get comp tickets and discounts, like a beneficial gap semester. Anyway, best of luck on whatever path you decide to take:)
hey i’ve been binging your DCP videos and was curious as to if you have to be enrolled to a college or if disney provides college classes?
Hey so you do have to be enrolled in college and taking classes and have completed at least one semester, or have just graduated college to be eligible to apply! You don’t have to take classes while you’re there if you don’t want to (though some people take one or two online classes from their college while there) and Disney doesn’t provide college classes for college credit, only some seminars and stuff that are optional!
