  • In this video, I discuss the concept of non-linear pedagogy and its application in coaching movement. I explain how non-linear pedagogy recognizes the variable nature of learning and manipulates instructional methods to enhance performance. I also highlight the importance of creating an environment that supports the learning process and encourages athletes and clients to explore and adapt their movements. Throughout the video, I provide examples and guidelines for implementing non-linear pedagogy in training. By the end, viewers will have a better understanding of how to improve movement through a non-linear approach.

Awesome presentation man. Loved overall idea of not just giving answers but giving tools to help people find the answer themselves. Looking forward to the next one!

also, how long should a serratus anterior muscle training session last (not including the 10k warmup jog)?

When adding constraints to guide/correct an athlete's movement, do you explain to them why the constraint is being added and what correction you are looking for that constraint to elicit? Or do you just add the constraint and kind of sit back and say "do it again within these new parameters"?

Sit back and see what happens, let the constraints do the work for you. If it's not changing movement you can give feedback to get them closer to where you want them. If it's an absolute shit show then change the constraints again.
