Operation Barbarossa - Eastern Front Hoi4 Timelapse
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 лип 2020
- World War 2. Hitler launches a surprise attack on the Soviet Union in 1941. Stalin is in shock as Wehrmacht Formations encircle the Red Army from Sevastopol to Leningrad. However what was supposed to be a fast BLitzkrieg campaign slowly turns into a bloody war of attrition as the two Titans battle for survival. Moscow, Stalingrad and Kursk will be some of the largest battle in the Second world war, and many believes that the Patriotic War itself was desicive for WWII.
This Unhistorical Timelapse is loosely based on real events however as it is AI Generated the War will eventually turn out different compared to the real one.
As in my other videos, this one also shows stats pulled from the game:
The Total industry shows all civilian and military industry per faction level. The big spikes and drops comes as nations joins or capitulates, or as big developed areas gets occupied by other powers.
The Army Size represent the total deployed forces, once again on a faction level. Finally, the casualties, yeah are also per faction level. You will se them spike especially after the eastern front opens.
One thing about the stats: They're manually fished out of the game once every six months. (Yep, I load the save files and write down the numbers) this means that the statistics that you see are interpolated, thereby, you wont see rapid changes exactly when America joins, but instead the changes will appear smoothly over a 6 month interval. besides that though, the statistics are very accurately and not manipulated by me at all.
This WWII timelapse has been simulated by AI in the video game Hearts of Iron IV by Paradox Interactive.

Seeing the number of casualties on each side, I assume that the restructuring plans in that countries will be much more intense than in real life. And great timelapse as always.
yeah in this timelapse they were more than 60 million casualties on the military side alone, that would probably make the total amount of casualties including civilians around 100 - 120 million people, basically, that would mean that more than 50% of Germany's population would be dead because of the war

I love how it went somewhat historical
4:34 kinda look like historical border to me
Yea that normally never happens in actual hoi games aswell
@@tubasil8786 In a recent game I played events actually went very historical - Germans got really close to Moscow in late 41 but got repulsed, then a grinding slugfest for a year and a half, by start of 43 they're getting pushed back, in 44 back to Poland and dealing with Allied landings in northern France and Italy - Italy falls completely in 44-early 45, and Berlin falls to the Soviets literally within a week or so of when it did historically. I was actually kind of amazed how historical it was. Only major difference was the Soviets naval invaded north-western Europe and conquered all of western Germany, and Yugoslavia conquered all of the Hungary and Austria.
@@EndOfSmallSanctuary97 wow
WheresWallace4883 Even had the failed Soviet counter-attacks at Vyazma and Bryansk and their subsequent encirclement.

Just found this channel super 😎
So beautiful timelapse and so awful post-war borders...
That's definitely won't couse any problems in the future..
Nope, not a single one
Well I've seen worse post war borders,
*Northern Europe*
- East Germany is bigger than they were historically with the Polish people pissed off.
- Konigsberg is a "independent" and is part of West Germany somehow, but I don't think the US can help in a "Konigsberg Blockade".
- Austria is bigger since it was given land that the Italians took from back in World War 1, Italians are pissed.
- Slovakia is independent from the Czechs much more earlier, the Czecks are unhappy.
- Austria is not neutral in the Cold War unless they change their mind in the 1960s.
*Southern Europe*
- Italy is smaller.
- Yugoslavia is a complete mess with 3 socialist counties independent from it.
- Southern France has two states succeeding from it but Charles de Gaulle will change that.
- Corsica is under Soviet Protection (and control).
- Albania and a former Italian port in Yugoslavia are now under direct rule from Moscow.
- Hungary is still big with the Romania's pissed off both being under the Warsaw Pact.
- Bulgaria is now a "Western" nation but Greece is now Communist and part of the Warsaw Pact.
Yugoslavia has been weakened to the point that the Soviets can do whatever they want in the Balkans sans Bulgaria being NATO aligned.
Q: Is their going to be conflicts and war in the Balkans?
A: Yes, but the Soviets will forcibly make the region stable until the end of the Cold War. So less genocides and massacres in the region unless the USSR suddenly collapses or abandons the Balkans to their fate but if NATO can (violently) stabilize the Balkens in our History then maybe the Soviet Union can.
The one time Soviet domination over Europe is the likely outcome and they take less than they did in reality.
The borders aren’t nice, but these are pretty historical for an allied victory. Soviet, not so much.

If this is meant to be historically accurate, Operation Barbarossa was launched on 22 June 1941 not 6 June. Norway was invaded by Germany in 1940 and occupied until 1945. The German offensive towards Stalingrad and the Caucasus (Fall Blau) did not begin until 1942, and there is no representation of the Continuation War between Finland and the Soviet Union during 1941-44.
