This is my favorite video I've seen so far. Knowledge that isn't apparent or that everyone knows is what I hunger after. Being a better and more efficient fisher is what makes your vids the absolute jam!
I'm 30 years old and always catfished, until I watched you win at Lake Cumberland. It got me pumped to bass fish, I use to think all the lakes around here was dried up. I've learned a lot by watching not only you, but your dad. Thanks for all the tips and tricks.
That rattletrap tip is one of the coolest ideas I’ve seen.. seriously some creative thinking! Thanks for the tips Scott and of course another great video
Smashing that like button!!! Keep all the vids coming. You take time to explain things, so they new anglers can get it, also showing us seasoned guys a thing or two. Much appreciated. Wishing you an the family the best of Holidays.
I have been watching the channel for a while. The texas/carolina rig hack earned the subscription! That is going to be awesome for limited rod fishing in a kayak in the spring!
That's a really cool tip!!! I will be trying it out the next time I'm crank baiting. The sliding wait is AWESOME!!! I LOVE IT. YOUR JUST THE BEST!!! MY MAN!!! THANKS SCOTT. KEEP KILLING IT!!!!
Great Hacks!!! "suggestion", If you add a bobber stop or something between the body and the treble hook, If you get hung in the grass and break off the hook, you will not loose the body of the bait along with it...
I drill out the back of the worm weights a bit on the Carolina rig hack so when its Texas rigged it gets closer to the bait. The bobber stop ( i only use one)goes up inside the weight and thought I was the only one who did it...
Absolutely awesome Scott! Probably would have never thought to modify anything to make a Carolina and Texas rig where you didn’t have to retie everything! That’s awesome! Keep up the amazing work brotha!
I use a small (smallest I can find) removable spiltshot to hold my c-rigs in place when I don't feel like re rigging. Then when I need to flip or punch I put it on the other side of the weight and slide it up to the hook. I can always remove the splitshot if I want to have a free sliding weight on a texas rig as well.
Love the vid. I don't fish Carolina rig much bacause of that reason. Get tired of switching over. This is gonna help with my diversity so much. THANK YOU! 🙏
Scott, grew up watching your dad. He’s a little too wound up all the time, lol but I really enjoy your stuff. I think you’re the most enjoyable show out there. More along the line of the old bill dance shows. You really relate to the people like a good neighbor. Keep it up and good luck on the tournament trail!
I love your videos , fun and informative , I fish worms mostly texas rig weightless 75 percent of the time and soft swim bait but I am gradually learning to use other baits and riggs , thanks for all the info and vids
I'm a huge fan Mr. Martin. Great video! I tend not to subscribe to anyone's channel, even if I watch their videos all the time lol but I just hit your subscribe button in an attempt to help grow your channel in my own TINY way. Thanks for kicking Bass all these years and recording all these videos.. from the SMC's to these new hack videos.. We appreciate you fam!
Great adjustable Carolina rig. The sliding treble hook lipless crankbait hack reminds me of a small mouth bass lure your father used years ago & probably designed. It had a small slender body lipless w/ a hole right thru the center. You just ran the line right thru it & tied on the treble hook. Can't remember the name, but it was a killer on smallest. Could never find it again in stores.
Thank you for the hacks. Please keep it coming! Been watching you for at least 7 years. Been fishing against you in fishing sims for a few years too! Lol.
Scott thanx for all the tips you have given over the years! I watch a lot on my lunch break in my patrol car! This video shows your license plate! Just a tip from a FL LEO fan! Can’t wait to see you in the opens!
Awesome tips!! I love it when you share stuff like this. I’m going to have to try up here on the St. Lawrence River next summer when the season opens back up.
thanks for the tips bud, hope you keep it coming. learning alot from you, your pops and b. lat! started fishing again about a year ago, man i tell you ive missed out on a real passion of mine for too many years thank y'all for the content!
I sincerely appreciate those practical tips. I plan to implement those two hacks. I will be trying out the Texas Carolina convertible set-up this week. Will save me time. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Great video scott thanks for the tips love it medically retired army here and just now getting back to florida bass fishing. Been spending to much time salt water fishing lol
Just subscribed after watching this video. Those two hacks were awesome. Especially the one for the lipless crankbait. Top notch video, Mr. Martin. Thanks for the information. Looking forward to more hack videos.
Happy to see your going to start doing fishing tip videos again, it was the main reason I first started watching your channel, happy Thanksgiving to you and your family
These are personally my favorite videos. I love the tips series because it goes more in depth and gives us a small idea what goes through your mind. Hope everything works out and I get to see you in January again Scott!
Excellent hacks dude!! Keep the hacks coming! I hope you have a great season this coming year with BASS and have a blessed and happy Christmas season!!
I think you should do a Hacking 101 video series. Awesome video. Just letting you know its your fault. I haven't fished in a good 12 -15 yrs. Ran into your site on youtube and it brought back all the great times I have had fishing and now Im hooked again.Your videos are all off the hook. Thank You so much.
I have some solid plastic lures from about 20 yrs ago where there is a tunnel through the body with this same action...but this hack is so simple it’s genius.
so glad to see you are fishing BASS opens... hope you make the elites next year... Gerald Swindle and Brandon Palaniuk are back with BASS... gonna be a great year... best of luck on the trail... thanks for the tips
Will admit ive just heard/seen the bobber stop trick this year. Used it a few times this year works great, but the lipless trick never heard or seen it before and better believe im trying it out next year!
We've been fishing this hack for a couple of years here in South Africa. It works great, especially when fishing river systems where the structure constantly changes.
Nice job on the classic hacks. A little surprised that you didn't tell about using a red hook for the trap hack. I've been using a red treble for both the normal rigging on the belly hook and the line around rig for years and it sometimes seems to put many more fish in the bag. Other times it doesn't seem to matter, but it never seems to take away from my catch rate.
Hey Scott just wanted to share that on ur so called modified Carolina rig if u put a clacker in between the final bobber stop & weight u can have the added clink also
Great hack with the lip-less crank-bait. How would it run if you used the rear eyelet in stead of the bottom? Better hook ups with the hook on the bottom?
Man that's a great hack on the lip less crank. I love my savage gear line through trout and this will turn a bunch baits into a better hook up bait. Thanks Scott
This is absolutely needed! As a growing angler I learn mostly from your channel and this was great. Keep them coming maybe once a month. Just so you arent giving away to much to fast lol
Been watching you for awhile Scott and I really enjoy watching you and getting to come along on your fishing adventures hopefully one day I'll get to meet you in person

Great channel, I been following you for awhile . Keep it up, l can’t wait to see you attack your new adventure with the Opens. I know you will do well, thanks for the instructional V-logs, I have learned many things from you. God Bless you and your family.

Thanks Daniel..glad it helped you! Happy Thanksgiving

Love it my friend! Takes years to learn these hacks and you taught me in 10 minutes lol. Keep these kind of videos coming!💪
Great Hacks!!! "suggestion", If you add a bobber stop or something between the body and the treble hook, If you get hung in the grass and break off the hook, you will not loose the body of the bait along with it...
5:30 someone ducking down behind the boat in an orange shirt..lol
Ripping lips with Ronron lmao I had to double take!
A Ninja . Sneaky bastards .
Love your tips and tricks videos the double fluke video was a game changer for me and its a great way to dial in what color they're eating better
Hack #1 is pure genius! Frees up a rod in my boat without having to buy a new one. Thanks Scott!
I use a small (smallest I can find) removable spiltshot to hold my c-rigs in place when I don't feel like re rigging. Then when I need to flip or punch I put it on the other side of the weight and slide it up to the hook. The Carolina to Texas rig was pretty obvious but that lipless idea was pretty clever. Thanks Scott!
I sincerely appreciate those practical tips. I plan to implement those two hacks. I will be trying out the Texas Carolina convertible set-up this week. Will save me time. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
