Just bought a 2024 ttr230 yesterday, still learning how to use a clutch. suck at taking off keep stalling it in first while stopped but once i get going im fine. Any tips?
Try not releasing the clutch lever until the bike starts moving slowly. Once you have a bit of forward motion, give it a bit more gas and then release that last fraction of an inch of the clutch lever.
Im 40 (just over 200lbs) and I’m looking for a trail bike that I could take out a few times a year (living in the Midwest ) this might be a perfect bike for my needs.
Im 40 as well , i just got into dirt bikes 3 years ago , 2009 ttr 230 was my fist bike , I recommend this bike 100% , after you get used to the power and want a little more power , just uncork the bike and it gets more responsive awesome to drive , good luck
