Hi, greetings from Toronto 🇨🇦. I hope you are well. It was a good video; I will have to check out this book. I know Joanne Fluke from her cosy mysteries. She’s written dozens. And yeah, I can see her writing Hallmark movies as well. Take care and good reading to you!
@@andrewcrow1031 Greetings, Andrew! Hope you're fairing alright up in the north! Thanks so much for checking out the video. There's a book mentioned here, The Other Child, that seems interesting and is written by her. Have you heard of it? Cheers and a happy year of reading to you as well!
Hi, thanks for writing back. The weather here is OK, about 23F and sunny. How is it where you are? I checked the Toronto Public Library and they have one copy of The Other Child, which I can put on hold. Briefly, it’s about a couple who are restoring a Victorian mansion. There are rumours that evil lives there. The ghost of a child haunts them, calling to their unborn child (paraphrased). I just put some books on hold this morning so I think I will go and add this one now. I’ll let you know how it is. Take care!
Firstly: nice shirt as usual :) Secondly: excessive exclamation points hahaha I feel ya! I was reading a Richard Laymon book one time...a few years ago I think it was (maybe longer) and I suddenly noticed that he kept using the same word over and over again. I cant even remember what the word was now but there was like 4 of it used on the one page and I remember it being a bit of a weird word to use aswell and it really took me out of the moment coz all I could think was USE A THESAURUS!!!! hahaha
Hi Stephen, this is my fourth message to you; UA-cam has deleted the other three. Maybe it was too long. Briefly, I read The Other Child (that we talked about 9-10 days ago). I gave it three stars on Goodreads. It was an OK read. Are you on Goodreads? I have a short (bad) review on it. Looking forward to the next video!
@andrewcrow1031 Hey, Andrew! Sorry it's taken me a bit to get back to you, I've been a bit busy lately. I am on Goodreads! Same name as it is on here. I actually read your review, and it's great! Reviews don't need to be overly long or completely in depth all the time. Honestly, I really enjoyed how focused your review was and said everything I'd want to look for in a review! Don't sell yourself short; reviewing is hard. I don't feel like any of my reviews are very good because I feel like I'm constantly bouncing around on topics. But, I feel that the video would be a lot less authentic and engaging if it was just me reading a script. Keep your reviews going!
@andrewcrow1031 I'm sure your review is leagues better than any scientific paper I take a crack at, haha. I'll be sure to accept your request! Take care, Andrew!

I didn’t mean that I gave the book a bad review, my review was bad, i.e. awful!

@@littlelibraryofhorrors Thanks Stephen; I’m used to writing scientific papers, not prose! I sent you a ‘friend’ request. Take care, Andrew
