Dear Anita, I've been a fan of the Pointer sisters since my childhood. Just wanted to send condolences & Prayers on the loss of your sister, Bonnie. God Bless & keep you & your family.
Sisters are awesome. ANITA has always been humble and caring to all her sisters. June must be so so happy in heaven that her sisters are awesome together
Anita and Bonnie Pointer, you don't know me but I've christened you two as well as Ruth and June as my honorary aunties. All of you are so relatable that you remind me of members of my family.
It's so great to see Bonnie and Anita appearing again and on good terms. Blood is blood and siblings got to be on good terms so it's terrific they mended ties. I hope they sing again together soon.
I love the Pointer Sisters. I was in the military, stationed in Washington, DC in 1973 when they first came to Georgetown.....and people lined up forever to see them....they broke Bette Midler's record for the crowd...and I think it was a little before they had their first hit! People went crazy to see them! Great, great memories....all beautiful ladies, great singers and sooooo much fun!
It's great to hearing you both share stories! The Pointer Sisters had an amazing career and you were masters at reinventing yourselves through the years. How hard was it to transition from jazz to pop and find a new audience? What do you think were the key factors in your successes and longevity?
How am I just now finding this? So amazing to see you both - been a life long fan. Have so many memories based on your records, TV appearances and concerts. So many memories. Love love love you.
I'm so happy to see Anita and Bonnie together again. I heard at one point they had broken ties. (i could be wrong) Anyway, it's amazing how much Anita looks like Ruth here.
Big Fan from waaay back (1st album & before...I searched around for Taj Mahal albums when I found out you all had sung background for him). Love this interview, glad the fam's still together (wish Ruth had been there). Would love some new music...heading over to the Subscription area (to see what I missed). Love you all, love the sounds!!!!
I remember seeing them on TV when I was a really little kid and I thought it was Pearl Bailey's show but maybe it was Flip Wilson. I can't find any note of it. I remember it because grandmother was flipping out over the 1940s style of dress and she watched Pearl Bailey
Greetings beautiful Queens, you have earned your crowns and we will "never" forget your energy, music and clothes and of course the powerful message you graced us with....💎💎💎💎💎💎 For the true Sistas....God bless you forever....now cut the next recording, we're waiting
I will always love and appreciate the amazing talented Pointer Sisters!! The amazing 80s and I’m so excited!! Sending love and God bless June and Bonnie!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
If it wasn't for Bonnie and June they're would've been nice pointer sisters! Period. They started the group as a duo "Pointers aupair" the rest is history ❤️
Anita, I love you guys! At 25, I love watching all of you guys' videos, individually and as a unit! June was such a gift! I'd love to see a Pointer's Sisters biopic! Ruth's book was such a great read for me. You all have experienced so much in your lives that we all could learn from. If approached with the idea, would you consider a biopic?
Bonnie is so attractive and Anita is hilarious and charismatic so saddened to learn of her passing. ****I was in Jr High school when The PS's came out and loved all their music 🎵🙏🥰! RIH Anita.
Hiya Anita, My name's Tom Page and I'm a young Soul DJ and vinyl collector in the UK. Last year at a soul music event in the UK, producer and artist Richard Caiton performed. In discussion it was realised Richard produced a record called 'Send Him Back' sung by yourselves released by Atlantic records. 'Send Him Back' is a huge anthem on the UK Northern Soul scene, and is one of my favourites! I just wondered if you remembered the record at all? Kind regards, Tom
All four of these sisters actually aged very nicely!!!! And they actually had a lot of catchy tunes., even the gimmicky ones where they dressed like the 40s era! I never knew they (with the exception of June), dealt with addictions as well!!!!
There is very recent interview (Apr. 2020) of Anita by Billy Masters where she talks about losing her daughter. It's hard to watch. She says "90%" of herself died with her daughter.
It's too painful for Mrs.Anita to talk baby girl Jada, here's the video. My heart breaks for her every time she cries💔 😢, because I know she misses her baby everyday. I am my mother's only child too. so I understand how she feels about her only child. ua-cam.com/video/29ca3s4WWRU/v-deo.html
love the pointer sisters from the start yes we can can in their 40's retro look in the 70's chick on the side . I wish you'd be more forthcoming with the reality it always seems like one or another being left out of the conversation we lost Ju e but Bonnie was never around even with her 2 hit career and what about your real beginnings in country Why didnt you rejoin the group Bonnie ? why is Ruth doing the pointers with her children/grandchildren and not sisters? thats what people want to know although we dont really care but we would really like to see you all singing again together before there wont be any more chances dont you guys realize that
They seem like they're so down to earth. I love them dearly 💞 I love The Pointer sisters.💚👑💚👑💚👑💚👑 The only movie I have of The Pointer sisters is car wash.
Bonnie is hilarious! What a personality!
I can see why so many people like Bonnie. She was such a bubbly personality to be around.

RIP Bonnie...She and June must have formed a new band in heaven.
They didn't do a gospel album because Bonnie couldn't sing "tie me to a tree... handcuff me" on a gospel album (lol)
Bonnie always the most scandalous of the sisters, but she sure is funny!
I LOVE the Pointer sister.... And, The dog with the mohawk in this video was great!

Does Anita ever talk about Jada?
There is very recent interview (Apr. 2020) of Anita by Billy Masters where she talks about losing her daughter. It's hard to watch. She says "90%" of herself died with her daughter.
Like she said in her book "Fairytale" it is too painful. Perfectly understandable! Anita did not just lose a child, but she lost her ONLY child.:-(
