Thank you for sharing this recipe my note is for diabetics who can’t eat sugar Keep dry yeast in the freezer it stays fresh for years and feeding a yeast with sugar or honey is a myth I’ve been making bread for years like my mother did and never using sugar just warm water to dissolve the yeast

How do we know how long it's been on the shelf at the store?
    Is there "fresh yeast" somewhere?

Hi Girl! I am so glad to find you You Tube. I made almost all of your fermented vegetables just 6 days ago, and they came out so good. Two years now, I am making my own sourdough brad out of organic einkorn and kamut flour. Aren't you making sourdough/fermented bread?

That's great! Ah yes, sourdough bread... used to make it, but sadly the fam decided they wanted regular wheat and white instead🤣

Hi I made this bread today, it turned out perfect, can I use wholewheat flour with this as well as white? Thank you from Perth australia

It's a pretty adaptable recipe. I know 50/50 works well and you can try a 100% whole wheat and see how it goes! if it doesn't turn out perfect, it will still make good toast!

Would this work if I used half whole wheat flour and whole grains added?

Hi, I am from Indonesia and learning how to make a bread. Is it essential or a must to put sugar? Can we make bread without sugar? I use instant yeast. Looking forward receiving ur reply.

The yeast need some form of sugar to feed on in order to rise. You can use granulated sugar, honey, molasses, syrup or agave.

Hi, can you use a gluten free flour such as cassava, millet, or buckwheat?

    • @CleanFoodLiving
      @CleanFoodLiving  Рік тому

The bread needs a gluten flour in order to hold together, fluff and properly rise.

Which type of flour do you use ?

In this video I used a standard organic white. But this recipe works great even if using 100% whole wheat flour or doing a 50/50.

I followed measurements. But my dough won’t release from the bowl.

I used einkorn flour which is ancient wheat. I’m assuming it has higher gluten.

Greetings, Dear Adrienne! Very good channel and videos as well! Did you know that the yeast is actually the main cancer cause? Worldwide the proper bread making was changed around 1912, when the yeast was implemented, which is number one cancer cause! The real bread 🥖, some they call it Ezekiel bread, is the one that actually you can start with lact fermentated monade, doesn’t matter what type, any type you prepare for yourself, you can actually use as the starter! Of course there are many tricks, you also need to protect the dough from EMF by using aluminum foil as well as infrared lamp to keep a good temperature! The proving could last between 4-18 hrs, depending on the day( usually Thursday to Sunday are the best), and then you could use any cast iron pot with baking paper in it, because the dough (bacteria in it), doesn’t cope well with the metal! Always wooden spoons or stirrers! This is when you will get the healthiest bread and cancer free! If you would like to take my friendly advice, stop using any kind of yeast! Kindest regards!

Fresh yeast meaning a new package bought recently in the past 1 to 8 weeks vs old package 4+ months old.🙂

I am surprised to find no lard or oil in your dough mixture. I thought a fat was essential to bread making.

You need to be more specific about your yeast. And show which one you use. It didn’t work at all

Any yeast brand from the grocery store should work. If the bread didn't rise it's because the yeast was dead/inactive regardless of brand.

Common sense. Have you used yeast before?

    • @jennybkind5054

Check the expiration date on the yeast at the store. Sometimes the yeast is expired at the store, and it will not rise.
