@@Darwinwatt I wish that were the case, but unfortunately this time it was intended. The max damage when fully merged is 2100 per tick, and when fully buffed that adds up to the damage numbers we saw here. NK just has no idea how to balance anything lmao
@Wither-xj5cp They didn't "fix it". They basically *killed* it. Yeah, it did need to get tweaked but they over did it to the point of death. It's been dead ever since then. Only now has it been resurrected. But don't assume it will stay. They do this ALL THE TIME. Buff something so people will like it then they kill it.

I think it is better than launch 💀 Not single Target damage wise, people are sleeping on the range IT LITERALLY COVERS QUARTER OF THE MAP ON LOGS if it can take down a r200 BAD, it can take down 20 r200 BAD as same it is incredibly op for late game I got to round 260+ on CHIMPS!
I could definitely see my usual strategies changing with the introduction of this tower. No more cheapo paragon for tier 3, now I’ll be getting the biggest shark
It's so confusing with the megalodon. One side it's to weak everyone complains and no one uses it. THEN THE OTHER SIDE it's OP then Ninja Kiwi nerfs it after it get posted of how OP it is.
For the Bloonarius CHIMPS event, I was able to get a decent least cash score with ultraboost, max megalodon, and max t-rex. And this was before the latest update! It was also nice since I could basically leave it on first, since on Cubism the thrash ends up doing huge damage to the boss.
The +10 damage from ice and sniper for sure were very useful for this 2100 damage tower /s Also I'm pretty sure it could've stayed on strong the whole time for t5 and still cleanup everything, this fish is a different beast now! Definitely will use it
The surprising part is there's no Glue Storm or something (idk how much it would help tho) but that's crazy... Also since it has been months since I've played btd6, would he get a water buff from like, Carrier Flagship and Brickel?
Its not busted. Its a little overtuned considering the price you need for this amount of damage. Its base cost for 132 power is like 100k already and then the buffs cost even more so it costs nearly as much if not more than a paragon so it doing similar damage is logical seeing they dont have buffs
@ducphammanh3746 it's water dependent and you should be spending money on farming at early tiers, AoW is good enough for tier 2 bosses(the only exception being vortex & phayze, but you might as well use a M.A.D on those guys)

Did he call it "cheap"? CHEAP? What about all the merges? And the high initial cost? You must be joking. Fully merged max power (something no other tower requires to be full power except the super monkey, which is supposed to be the most expensive) it's one of the most expensive towers in the game! And it's locked into water.
It's the freaking megaladon...the megaladon it should be this strong make it more expensive (no way to afford it in chimps before or at round 100) and we are good with it(okay fine disable it for boss events) but please ninja kiwi let the megaladon live up to it's name

ahh yes ninja kiwi made a busted fish nerfed it to hell then buffed to godlike status
it is not "godlike", it is just good, pretty good in fact. The original Megalodon could 1 tap bosses, now that was godlike.
the original meg was super bugged and did way too much damage, they didnt nerf it just fixed it

This may just be me, but I'm totally fine with a giant prehistoric shark being this good.
The flapping damage alone is nuts the fact it can kill fbads with just its flapping attack is crazy

Megalodon is now really solid. Perfect mayhem of a tower that competes Paragons in single-target damage
Still not gonna end up using it only because of how complicated using these guys is, microing in Bloons is simply not fun

To be fair, it's like twice the price of Avatar of Wrath with similar DPS.
But AoW has low pierce and small AOE
