We camp at nearly 13,000 feet of elevation (4,000 m), which is our highest altitude overland camping yet. It feels like we are in a movie. Join this incredible journey to the infamous Cotopaxi volcano. See what it is like to camp at high elevation and marvel at the magnificent sight with us.

We’re Eric + Brittany + Caspian Highland, and we’re driving around the world! We left the United States in October 2021 and have been exploring South America for the past year. Over 10-15 years total, we intend to drive across all six habitable continents. We started traveling full-time in February 2014 and have never looked back.
