I just have a 4* Bastion and always end up getting 8 ~ 10 Kills, I love how tanky it is. Just avoid heading into Open to avoid Javelin Racks and not much can kill you.
Buying tokens one by one is a terrible idea. You are basically paying for the maximum price for each token instead of purchasing in Bulk. Almost no chance getting Bastion on first go so might as well by 5 tokens first. You get to spend less on each token

You are actually unlucky to get this mech with even a single token imo, it will cost an arm and a leg to upgrade from 3 star to max. It seems like the play would be to wait until it's offered in a cheaper deal ( than spending on tokens) with a higher star rating thus saving on costs/resources. That being said, I don't find the mech to be great and wouldn't consider it a "must have". My hangar is 6890 with Panther/EMs, Tengu/shotguns, Redeemer/EMs, Surge/arcs and stalker/discs for general play, Aegis is very handy for cpc and Guardian with disc 16s is used for 2v2 . I feel that bastion and gatecrasher alike fall short.
Bastion is broken, ability doesn’t work properly in FFA mode.
Also there is less EMP range then they said in official video

Is the amount of damage the shield absorbs the amount of damage that it gives off in the blast? The stats don’t specify that. No way to know how much damage is in the blast. Also the emp is for like one second.
I saw 23k shield blast damage at max level in one of Mayer's video.

they totally rigged this mech's event crate rush. it seems like no one is able to get it on the first couple of tries and they make you keep trying till the final 3. Its total BS. I said no way and I'll wait till they offer him in the shop at 50 percent discount.
