So I had a similar scenario when I opened some lines on my machines where gas was escaping, quite a lot actually so I closed it again. But as long as the gas bottle is closed, the only gas escaping is the ones trapped inside the lines etc? Because the compressor shouldn’t have any gas inside right? Reason I opened the lines was to troubleshoot why recovery is so slow on my machine.
Right. There is a one way valve coming off the tank that should close so it would just be the refrigerant in the lines escaping. Good luck with the troubleshooting.
How did you drain the compressor oil? Is there a port on the bottom of the compressor?
@@naume_1743 no port. Have to pull the compressor out and pour the oil out of one of the connection lines.
how do we calibrate the scale? i accadently zeroed mine with the tank on a freon in it
