Cheers Lawrence, yes I think there is something in this , just getting my head round the best way to do use it next year when the courses are at their most scenic and great condition.
@@lawrencemahoney7092 I know, right. Once you’ve seen this there’s no way you’re going back to 2D imagery. Some of us are, I’ve been trying for 2 years (360 stills not video) to get golf courses here at home (Canada) to showcase/market their course this way. So immersive and an incredible way to learn the course, especially if it’s your first time there or making a choice where to go. Can’t imagine a better way to show each hole or the grounds. Try it with the newest VR goggles, it’s like you’re right there, mind blowing!
I know, right! The only way to showcase golf/golf courses I believe, now that you've seen it. Some of us are, I'm trying to get it going here in Canada at all the courses (stills not video) to show/learn playability, show off the grounds, even to make a choice if you even want to play there. See what each hole looks like at eye level like you were really there (does feel like that in the new Meta 3 VR headset, mind blowing). Will be the future of golf, I don't know of a better way.
Worked great on my phone and amazingly enough...on the tv too. Toss up between that and 7 being my favourite hole at Pleas Craig. The hut is new since I was last there. This is the first year in over a decade that I've not played it at least once 🤔
Keep it up! Can’t image a better way to show golf or the course. Imagine a major like the Masters shot this way, you miss out on so much of what else is going on with 2D tv cameras and it’s such a beautiful course. Try it with the new meta 3 VR headset, mind blowing, it’s like you’re right there. I’m trying to get it going here on the other side of the pond, is the future of golf.
It’s good. If it could be in 3D to give an idea of the slope of the greens and where the breaks are that would be fantastic. But that is probably asking too much.
The idea is not Bad. The issue is the Quality. Watched it on my phone, and the Resolution is partially very bad. Don't know if this because of youtube or the camera, tried to have Quality set to the highest. Also the distortion of close objects is massiv, making the swing look strange. And I assume it would be very hard to add tracers, and without them you can't see at all where the Ball is going. To be immersed into the course, great. To watch someone playing Golf, not good enough yet.
I thought it was great to watch
Thanks Robert..
I think there is something in this , just need to think how to utilise it in the best way.
Probably the coolest thing I’ve seen on UA-cam. So great to see the full scenery of the holes.
How is no one else doing this!!

I think that it’s the coolest thing ever sound is good picture is good and the cool part is been able to look around while you walking and talking👌👌👌
Cheers.
Yes it gives a unique perspective.
Just trying to work out the best way to use this technology.
Thanks for the feedback and membership support

Thanks for the feedback, the par 3s at Pleasington are some of the most scenic you will play
@ScratchAt50 That one is gorgeous on that new tee across the valley.
Agree, I love the 8th too...and the 16th...fair play, some lovely Par 3s 😉
Very cool. Useful to appreciate the topography your describing.
Cheers Greg, I do think there is something in this technology

Mate… top marks, this is awesome and works for sure, well done… love it! Why isn’t this being used in major comps?
I think you are going to see this more as VR headsets become more popular. It will feel like you are walking the fairways with the pro players
This is fantastic
Thanks for the feedback..

That would be amazing but above my pay grade and not compatible with watching on computer and TVs I think ?
Thanks for the feedback and support John
You can, try viewing in the Meta Quest 2/3 VR headset, almost like you’re there.
@Sphere360imaging
That takes it to the next level, right ?

@@dominicblattmann3763 tracers are impossible.
When I set resolution to 2160 4k it is very clear on my phone
