To my understanding or remembering somewhere said, that the Guitar Player is the second supporting female singers boyfriend/husband who came into the project through the spouses participant kinda hanging with the practices etc. He was a known professional Guitar Player all along, so easy for Tuomas to ask kinda "Hey, since you are here, fancy playing a solo to this song?) :)
The other vocalist is Johanna Iivanainen, and the guitarist is her husband Mikko Iivanainen, he is labelled as 'jazz guitarst'. The two Johannas have a project called ALTAMULLAN ROAD. Altamullan for me, as a Finn, is an interesting name. It sounds to me like a foreign name, but the Finnish "alta mullan" or "mullan alta", (the 1st version sounds more poetic than the latter one) means "from underneath the dirt/soil/earth. If someone is dead, buried, he is "mullan alla", underneath the dirt, could also be translated as "six feet under". The TV-serial "Six Feet Under" in Finland has the title "Mullan alla"

This is one of my favorite compositions by our incredible Tuomas Holopainen and performed by his lovely wife, Johanna Kurkula. Interestingly enough, the other woman singing with Johanna Kurkula is also named Johanna and is the wife of the guitarist.
The singers are two Johannas. Tuomas's wife Johanna Kurkela and a prominent jazz singer Johanna Iivanainen. The man with glasses is Don Rosa, probably the most famous Disney comics artist after the legendary Carl Barks. Well done all! 😎👍
Thanks so much to you both for reviewing this album, when I first heard about this music that Tuomas conducted I chuckled to myself 😀 but it's become my favourite album of all time! It's truly a masterpiece and so out of the box, the world need more music like this. Keep up the great work guys!
The whole album is great. Tuomas is a Disney Duck freak specially Scrooge. He collected friends and his wife to make up this and naturally Pip and the London orchestra.
Okei. Little facts. In Finland are Donald Duck a much bigger thing then Mickey Mouse. Almost every one hu have been child in the 70's, 80's and 90's has been reading Donald Duck magasines. And then to this Music. Don Rosa (the old guy that is drawing in the video) have done two comic boks that are named The Life Time Of Scrooge 1 and 2. And Tuomas did this hole album inspired of them. In the Album. Alan Reid is the voice of Scrooge. And the Singers are Johanna Kurkela ( Tuomas Wife), Johanna Iivanainen and in one song Tony Kakko ( friend of Tuomas and the singer of Sonata Arctica). Also in the Album are Troy Donockley and plays some of the instruments. My favorit song of the album are Cold heart of the Klondike
I tried to think some Finnish song about Batman, but none came to mind. However there is a song about white tigers: "Timo Kotipelto - Valkoiset tiikerit". It's originally a song by a band called Dingo, which song "Nahkatakkinen tyttö" (Girl With a Leather Jacket) Marco Hietala has covered: "Marco Hietala Nightwish - Nahkatakkinen tyttö".
My favourite from the album, too - it makes me tear up, and I'm not sure why. On pronunciation, Finnish is (almost without exception) phonetic, so you pronounce everything you read and just have to learn what each letter stands for. And the emphasis is usually on the first syllable, so Johanna would be "YO, Hannah." Holopainen definitely includes the last two letters.
