I have been the feeding large wood chipper's very similar to the one shown in the video and when feeding a big log heavier than the feed wheel on top you do have to hold it up until it chips off enough weight so the feed wheel's weight holds it down to feed properly. If you've never fed a big chipper than you don't really have a clue how to do it right....it's about production get the trailer filled in as little time as possible. Only way it makes no sense to you is you haven't done it yourself.

This thing has 540 ps... the conveyor belt and the drum stop when the rpm are at the minimum number it was programmed ... in order to get a nice size chips it must eat fast otherwise u will get out only dust... if u never worked or know how this thing operates dont give an opinion .
