Beautiful, Jesse. I also want to add, that I bought your new cd and it really is wonderful ! Anyone out there pondering if they should buy it or not, BUY IT , you'll love it ! Keep up the good work, you've got a gift.
What a lovely version. My choir is going to be performing this, and while we aren't doing it...your way, a search for a good recording still made me find this one, and I really enjoyed your take on it.
Really good version Jessie but not so sure about it being a Burns' song. Some people claim that he wrote some of the words to the chorus in this version but I don't think there is actually any evidence for that and the song doesn't appear in his collected works. It is a shortened snippet of the older and much longer ballad Donald Of The Isles..
Beautiful! Robbie Burns would approve. Your voice just gets better and better.
Well done, my friend. I like your voice. And your guitar as well!
