Hey, I saw OEM rubber floor mats in our LR storage! LOL, the little things LR fans pick out. I have 1,000 things which need to be done before floor mats, but when you see something on the list... just makes me happy.
Woohooo....! I'm excited to see some of these builds move forward. But frankly, I've enjoyed watching the hodge podge of projects because that is what real life is like. This new year I hope to take a bit of a cross-country trip to some national parks (from NJ) that will likely bring me through Iowa on the way. 😉 Anyway, all the best to you for the New Year, Joe. ...and get that roof fixed!!!😅
Hodge Podge is my life in a nutshell haha. So you are right there. And it will continue to be that way to some extent so don’t you worry haha. You just let me know if you get anywhere in the middle of the country and I’ll work out meeting you haha. I hope the best for you as well this year. And that dang roof.

Hi Joe, Happy New Year to you, it looks like 2025 is going to be another awesome year for you and your UA-cam Channel with all these potential amazing projects you have on the go, There’s obviously just not enough hours in a day, but ha Rome was not built in a day! Keep up the great work, looking forward to your next video. Are you back on the Range Rover Camper next, as I’m really looking forward to seeing you bring this old girl brought back to live. All the best. 😎🍻🍾👍
Happy new year to you as well! Hopefully 2025 is good for you. There is a tiny bit to do, but it feels nice to finally be in a place to just work on those projects and not run around with my head cut off (quite as much at least). The camper will be in and out of the videos in the next couple months. Needs to get finished up so it can travel this summer.
Too funny you stumbled across it. You have good taste, I’ve had a 6 speed 540 and an e39 m5 in the past as well. Those were kind of the end of the golden era for BMW. That’s a nice pair of cars you have.
doing the timing chain, valve cover gaskets on my 2012 LR4. I've never done this job before, I've done timing belts on other cars but this will be an entirely new experience. I've watched your video a few times already.
Good luck with that. Just take your time and pay attention to all the details. I’m sure you have seen theirs as well but Atlantic British also has a decent video on it as well. Having some experience in the timing world puts you ahead.
While you're in there consider replacing your injectors, water pump, and plastic coolant pipes. I did mine last year the Atlantic British staff was very helpful and my LR4 is going to run forever.
@@terryclarence1209 yes thank you for the excellent points. I already did the front and rear cross over pipes, water pump earlier this year. These are Super easy water pumps. getting my 74 series 3 on the road! I know its a long haul for you but we would love for you to come to the old north state land rover society URE in October!
That will be awesome to have the series on the road. Is that going to be in the middle of October again? I’d love to come down to that, let me know whenever the actual date is figured out. I’m going to start building out the calendar for the year.
I’m kind of upset with myself for just pushing the G4 to the wayside. And keeping an old Land Rover going can sometimes be a year long project in itself haha. But so worth it.
Continuing on with my 84 Grand Wag evolutionary build. Hope to switch the window nylon flex junk to some reliable lift arm mechanisms. Rocker rust needs addressed. Hope to knock down 3 camping trips and at least 2 mild USFS expedition trips in the state. Fencing the property is the big ticket item as far as homeowner stuff.
That all sounds good in my book. Looks like you have a nice year planned as well. You’ll have to send me some pictures of the Wag, I love seeing that those are coming around too, my favorite era of vehicle. Glad to hear you plan on getting out on a few trips as well! Enjoy it!
Well that would be quite the surprise. Haha. On another note, I intend on the first real(long) trip with the camper being out your direction. That should happen this summer.
