Toby Keith Suprises Iraq War Hero

- Iraq War Hero Patrick Miller returned to his hometown in Kansas after spending 21 days in captivity. His unit was in a convoy with Private Jessica Lynch, who's story was highly publisized. Lynch and the other survivors of that attack credit Miller as the hero. It was said that Patrick would only respond to Iraqi Guards with Toby Keith song lyrics. This story was shot in Valley Center Kansas in April 2003 by myself and reporter Jennifer Bocchieri.
I don't know what I love the most. Mr. Miller ruffling the feathers of the guards with Toby's song or Toby showing up to support him. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!
That's awesome and it may be 2021 and I may be late to this parade but I'm a Marine Corps mother my son spent 13 years in the Marine Corps and he did three tours and I just cannot think these guys enough and thank you Toby Keith for honoring our vets God bless our vets and our military

Whether you agree with war or not is irrelevant. You should be grateful that there are braveAmericans who make many sacrifices, including their own lives to protect you and your freedom to say whatever you want about them and the country they die to protect. If you aren't in the military and you're not the one out there enduring all kinds of horrible things and risking your life, you have no real right to spout off uneducated and hurtful comments about America and its defenders.
I don't really know Toby, but I'm glad Patrick met his idol and he's back safely from Iraq.

Contrary to popular belief your answer is actually incorrect. Iraqi war heroes are those who fight for their countries knowing that any second could be their last.
I don't llisten to his music but I think he is a great person for many reasons.
1. He supports the troops and trys to leave the BS out of it.

Don't get me wrong, this is a nice video and respect to people who are prepared to fight for their country. But I just don't see how the American way of life would be any different if there weren't troops fighting in Afgn & Iraq.
