The fans there really gave that man justice for doing what he does and defending our freedom. It would have become slightly better in the last 20 years with the mobile coverage and all but until the 90s a soldiers job involved way too much resolve, grit and sacrifice. That said, I have a lot of respect for SD/PD officers as well.

This is awesome to watch... and listen to. The crowd cheer loudly when the soldier mentions their support, then when he mentions them playing they raise the roof (if it had one). At the end of his link the cheers even louder and when he is announced as being there... the cheers go into the stratosphere. Amazing stuff
My father served in the Army (82nd Airborne Division) for 21 years; nothing but TOTAL respect for all who serve. Wife and daughter have some serious sprinting skills!!!......Thank you Sir.....That was beautiful
I have seen this video several times over the years and the repeats still get to me. When mom recognizes the dad and takes off running, that's awesome.
I was there that day, and it was an experience I'll never forget. I think I cried as hard as the family. Especially when the wife ran faster than both of her kids! I'm telling you, that choked me up the most. The whole family ran faster than a running back! It is very common for the University to honor a military family like that at football games, but this was the only time I've ever seen the soldier actually be there. I see these reveals all the time on UA-cam and love them, but never thought I would witness one in person. It was truly an emotional high and I'll cherish that memory always.
Such a special heartwarming moment but what also got me was the roar of the crowd. Right at the moment the family started running to meet dad, the roar escalated even higher. That made it ever super special. That's what America is about. I'm very proud.
