From the ancient city of Magdala, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, virtual pilgrimage leader Kathleen Nichols invites us to ask not only What is Peace, but Who is Peace.
Prepare to receive the Prince of Peace at Christmas and fill the Holy Land with your prayers for peace by following the Advent Virtual Pilgrimage of Peace each Sunday of Advent.

Due to the ongoing conflict in the Holy land, pilgrims are unable to visit Bethlehem and other holy sites this Advent and Christmas season. Long-standing Christmas traditions usually held in Jerusalem and Bethlehem will not be celebrated this year. Kathleen Nichols and her small team from Magdala Media made the journey into Palestine to film the now empty holy sites connected with Christ’s birth, hoping that virtual pilgrims from all over the world fill them with prayers for peace.

I agree with that important distinction, to us peace, truth etc are ideas, thought exercises but Christ is the embodiment of all the virtues, He is the virtues, hence the greatest gift is the Eucharist which infuses in our very being these virtues. The Eucharist metabolizes us rather than us metabolizing the Eucharist. Alleulia.
