You are so great at what you do I have followed you for the past year since I met clay and I have learned so much. And your voice is sweet. Thank You 😃
Thank you very much, I very much needed the help with smoothing out without distorting. My sister called it "groovy" looking, which is great for her millennial-hippie self, but not what I was after!
Very helpful, your videos always are. I like to join either 2 types of texture sheets of clay or a smooth sheet to a textured one. I wonder if there is a way I can do that without having to cover the seams. Maybe others would like to see a tutorial on that also. Thanks for all you teach us.
Thank you! Very helpful tutorial! I have a number of canes which are really old. Is there a way to wake them up again so I can use them like you just showed us. They are dry and crumbling even if I cut a thin slice it crackles when I try to add it to a sheet of clay. Thanks for sharing ❤️
I'm loving your videos I'm learning so much I'm new to polymer clay and was wanting to know Do you have to sandpaper all your pieces Necklaces and earrings If so what grit size is best to use Thank you
Samantha, I am in Aust also, what is the brand and name of the Verithane (?) or vanish that you use please. I don't get up the street, my husband does all my local shopping. So I need to be specific in what I want.
My understanding is both will work, and plain printing paper will too (she calls it copy paper). Also you can bake on greaseproof paper but not on waxed just fji :) Different countries use different names to so it can get quite confusing! But The Blue Bottle Tree has a great article on the different types of papers (wax, deli, parchment, greaseproof etc) if you’re interested thebluebottletree.com/parchment-paper-plastic-wrap-deli-sheets/

I've heard of using liquid clay on the outside of a cane to wake it up.
Warming up the cane helps a lot.
Thank you so much ! This was so helpful !
Thanks Samantha!
Beautiful, thank you
Excellent instruction. Smoothing seams on tube beads, I cut edges at an angle but interested to hear how you do it.
I do that to.

I sand pieces if I want a smooth shiny finish. I start with grits 400, 600, 800, 1200, 2000.
Can you PLEASE tell me if you have a video on how you did the watercolor look on this slab? It's so gorgeous!
I don't have one for that one specifically, but I do have a few tutorial on the watercolor technique.

It's Varathane water based gloss varnish.
@@JessamaTutorials Thanks.
Do you have a tutorial on the torn paper/watercolor technique?
I show it in this tutorial. ua-cam.com/video/r-yWl6b5PqE/v-deo.html
Bit fused, which do you use Greaseproof paper or Waxed paper, they are two different things?
