I’ve heard Michael Richards say he studied all of Art Carney’s Ed Norton entrances in total amazement. I’m not taking anything away from McKeeon and Lander, but Kramer is much more “Nortonish” than Lenny and Squiggy.
When I say hello I always have Squiggy in the back of my mind saying it too. I haven't heard him say it in a couple decades. Ty for this because now I can refresh my memory of how it's said. lol
Ahh man these actors+ actresses were brilliant and shirleys diction ,her voice was sparkingly clear and confident, plus she was gorgeous, and a extremely good actress
I love that somebody did this and I love that every single one of them makes me laugh! Well played gentleman well played and fly free I hope you say hello to the angels for us!
Thank you for putting together this montage of my favorite L&S scenes. These extremely talented actors combined with extremely talented writers made good clean fun, that I looked forward to each week. I wish they still made shows like this today.
GOSH !! Me and my Sister Loved this show ! It was the funniest show on TV and those guys helped make it like it was !! Man those were GREAT TIMES !!! 😂😂🤣🤣
There were a lot of laughs - but there were serious episodes as well serious meaning true loving friendship moments that showed how much they cared for each other. "Squiggy in love". "Lenny's Crush" were 2 of my favorites. "Look where you leap where Laverne thinks she's pregnant and Lenny asks her to marry him.... He & Squiggy flipped a coin... He won ". 💓. The boys may have drove the girls nuts but they had a deep care for each other.
David came into a Kentucky Fried Chicken on Sunset I used to work at in the mid 80s. Great guy, very funny, great stories. He said the Eddie Mekka (The Big Ragu!) was one of the best song and dance men out there.
I got a LOT of mileage (in my younger years) outta using Squiggy's "hello gellz" as a nightclub bartender, and your everyday, average 'creep' ...I owe Squigmond HUGE !!!!
This is where Kramer got his entrance inspiration... Nothing tops Lenny’s: “HELLO!!!!” I have started yelling this every time I enter my home even if nobody is home.... XD
In addition to being hilarious as Squiggy, Mr. Lander seemed like such a lovely person in interviews. I'm so sorry he struggled for so long with health problems. Rest in peace, Mr. Lander. You've left a wonderful legacy.💙🌿💚
That was Heartwarming. I grew Up watching Lavern and Shirley, that was When You had Good Quality TV. Not like the Garbage they Have Now. Thank God for UA-cam!! Grace and Peace, Ralph In CT.
I just saw the episode with Pat Carroll as Shirley's mother a couple of weeks ago and she said, anything could crawl in off the street. HELLO! She was 100% Pat Carroll and was just mortified and backing away from them. It was hilarious! Wish they'd shown all of it here.
David L. Lander made his first "HELLO" in heaven the moment we mourned his passing at age 73. He joins Penny Marshall, Betty Garrett and Phil Foster in a better place that knows nothing but good times. RIP to the aforementioned talented quartet of actors from L&S. ☁️🌤️☁️
I loved how Lenny & Squiggy by coincindence were neighbors when Laverne & Shirley in LA. 😂🤣 I remember that there was some type of connecting storage closet with a small door where Lenny & Swiggy magically appear in their new place. But, it wasn't on this video.
I'VE BEEN WATCHING THE RERUNS OF L & S ON PLUTO, FORGOT HOW FUNNY THIS SHOW WAS...FUNNIER THAN ... (I LOVE LUCY) ..R.I.P. DAVID LANDERS, AND THANKS FOR THE LAUGHS
R.I.P. David L. Lander (June 22, 1947 -- December 4, 2020), who played Andrew "Squiggy" Squiggman. Born David Leonard Landau, he died of complications of multiple sclerosis at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Torrance, California. 2020 continues to be a lousy year.
There was an episode where the guys bust in and one of them days "Hello Laverne" but pronounces her name " LA BURN". Can anyone help me or was this my happy memories that had a little imagination added to the dialogue.
my father would laugh so hard when they would come through the door saying 'Hello". Great memories ! 💕
R.I.P. David/Squiggy, you always came in with so many hilarious hellos, now it's time to say the opposite, goodbye
Kramer owes his entrances to these guys.
Soooo true
Totally agree but he did make it his own
I’ve heard Michael Richards say he studied all of Art Carney’s Ed Norton entrances in total amazement. I’m not taking anything away from McKeeon and Lander, but Kramer is much more “Nortonish” than Lenny and Squiggy.
Exactly !!! great comedic timing...
Nice observation . RIP David Lander .
Loved the show Lavern & Shirley especially those two goof balls Lenny and Squiggy..........
Always my favorite part of the show! I would just wait for it. 😂
RIP David Landers. 🙏 Thanks for the laughs!
It never gets old
HELLO!
When I say hello I always have Squiggy in the back of my mind saying it too. I haven't heard him say it in a couple decades. Ty for this because now I can refresh my memory of how it's said. lol
4 great characters of all time....Lenny and Squiggy....hilarious...TV today is not 1/3 half as good as this...thanks for posting!
Good idea for a UA-cam video. I laughed a lot. Thank you.
One the very best comedies! They were the best.
RIP David, definitely the star of the show...
Thank you for putting together this montage of my favorite L&S scenes. These extremely talented actors combined with extremely talented writers made good clean fun, that I looked forward to each week. I wish they still made shows like this today.
This and Steve Urkel’s “Did I do that?” are classics.
I totally agree
True but I never grew tired of "Hello", after a while Steve's "Did I do that" wore on me.

Squiggy has made his last "hello" entrance. He has passed away at the age of 73.
Sad to see the Squigman go.
R.I.P. to David L. Lander... Goodbye, Squiggy !!! :(
There is only one Squiggy.
He said "hello" when he entered heaven and everyone was glad to see him.
He is Loved still 💜💜💜
RIP DAVID LANDER " SQUIGGY" 1947 - 2020
That "hello" just makes me laugh harder every time. 😂
I watched this show as a kid, came on at 8:30pm, after Happy Days. Great memories! 😀😢
I like it when Squiggy says HELLO he is so funny 😂 LOL
I know! 😂 I would always wait impatiently during each episode for him to do it. Love it! I could watch it all day 😂
Sweet sleep, Squiggy. You and 'vodeododo' shaped my adolescence.
I love it when Squiggy says Hello he makes me laugh 😆 😆 😂 😝 LOL
GOSH !!
Me and my Sister Loved this show ! It was the funniest show on TV and those guys helped make it like it was !!
Man those were GREAT TIMES !!! 😂😂🤣🤣
Great supercut. RIP David "Squiggy" Lander.

RIP David Landry. He brought so much laughter to my childhood.
This was absolutely wonderful! I didn’t even realize Squiggy said Hello so many times. Thank you for putting these together.
I love this show
David came into a Kentucky Fried Chicken on Sunset I used to work at in the mid 80s. Great guy, very funny, great stories. He said the Eddie Mekka (The Big Ragu!) was one of the best song and dance men out there.
So glad I grew up with these awesome shows!
Excellent video clips !
Excellent video clips !
Oh Yeah
Missing: Where can we find two guys hard up for a date at such short notice? "HELLO!"
Thank you so much for posting this it’s so wonderful to laugh
Thank you so much for putting this video together! I had forgotten how much they made me laugh.
I looovvvweee Lenny and Squiggy!
I loved this show. Wish they would play reruns.
Loved these guys
I got a LOT of mileage (in my younger years) outta using Squiggy's "hello gellz" as a nightclub bartender, and your everyday, average 'creep' ...I owe Squigmond HUGE !!!!
Goodbye David Lander.
Thanks for the laughs.
Some of the best parts of the show ! 😄
R.I.P. David Lander! Heva funniest actor and will be missed.
This is where Kramer got his entrance inspiration... Nothing tops Lenny’s: “HELLO!!!!”
I have started yelling this every time I enter my home even if nobody is home.... XD
I've started doing that as well😂😂 with a "I'm home" at the end of course😂
Sqiggy.
You mean Squiggy.
In addition to being hilarious as Squiggy, Mr. Lander seemed like such a lovely person in interviews. I'm so sorry he struggled for so long with health problems.
Rest in peace, Mr. Lander. You've left a wonderful legacy.💙🌿💚
Fifty years later and that schtick is still 100% hilarious! 🤣
RIP Squiggy - amazing how funny these two were together
First we lose Penny, now we've lost David/Squiggy...may they both rest in peace.
Eddie too! What a great guy he was 👍💜 Dancing and singing...so cute💖🎼💖
And now Shirley…R.I.P. Cindy Williams.
Nice editing! :) thanks for this peek into my past.
Gosh, I want to keep this video forever!
I wonder how many times they had to replace that doorknob.
Good question!
My favourite part of every show!
2:49 and 5:17 to funny. Man I love Lenny and Squiggy there where so funny. Along with Shirley the show was so great.
Love the way he says hello. It's like with Larry on Newhart.
Today squiggy's entrance into heaven sounds something like this.
That was Heartwarming. I grew Up watching Lavern and Shirley, that was When You had Good Quality TV.
Not like the Garbage they Have Now. Thank God for UA-cam!!
Grace and Peace,
Ralph In CT.
Penny Marshall is there to greet him along with her brother and the show's creater/producer Garry Marshall
I Honestly laughed through most of this.
Takes me back to my youth.
The classics live on
I just saw the episode with Pat Carroll as Shirley's mother a couple of weeks ago and she said, anything could crawl in off the street.
HELLO!
She was 100% Pat Carroll and was just mortified and backing away from them. It was hilarious! Wish they'd shown all of it here.
I bet that was the first thing David said after he passed through the Pearly Gates..."Hello". I hope Penny was there to greet him when he showed up.
Who's here after he died
Me
Me.
Unabashed Squiggy fan here. The television of my youth was exceptional: Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy all on one night!
Tuesday night on ABC was the best!
RIP SQUIGGY! 😭
I'm glad I grew up with Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley. The theme songs alone made me happy.
My favorite part is when these two come in and say hello.
David L. Lander made his first "HELLO" in heaven the moment we mourned his passing at age 73. He joins Penny Marshall, Betty Garrett and Phil Foster in a better place that knows nothing but good times. RIP to the aforementioned talented quartet of actors from L&S.

Thanks for sharing!! For your next project, you could do Frank DeFazio outbursts. The way he would get ticked off and start yelling. It was funny!
Can never get tired of Squiggy saying "Hello" like that.
Hello. RIP Squiggy.
Most excellent.
I loved how Lenny & Squiggy by coincindence were neighbors when Laverne & Shirley in LA. 😂🤣 I remember that there was some type of connecting storage closet with a small door where Lenny & Swiggy magically appear in their new place. But, it wasn't on this video.
Lol 😆 🤣 😂 😹 ThankYOU 4Sharing !!! ❤ 🕊 MuchLove
These guys were brilliant and hysterical; genuinely funny.
Kramer was just stupid
Loved Penny, Eddie and of course Lenny and Squiggy 💜💖💜💖💜
We'll miss you Squiggy. "Hello!"
I'VE BEEN WATCHING THE RERUNS OF L & S ON PLUTO, FORGOT HOW FUNNY THIS SHOW WAS...FUNNIER THAN ... (I LOVE LUCY) ..R.I.P. DAVID LANDERS, AND THANKS FOR THE LAUGHS
"Hello..." Rest well, funny guy. Gotta be a better place you're in now-- without any illness to endure every day. Give my best to Laverne.
Goodbye.........
(R.I.P. Mr. Lander)
Thank you for this!

Squiggly did that alot...like in the haunted house episode where he mentions the movie: The Debil's Bungalo
RIP legend david lander 😔

Rest in Power (and leather), David Lander
Isn't it rest in peace
Squiggy, " Good bye "....Shine on David Lander, shine on. Aloha

RIP David Lander "Squiggy"
Pure comedy gold
I'm sure 5:11 was Squiggy when he got to the Pearly Gates this past week
RIP David Squiggy Lander!
This is such a good bit!
Imagine the show without L&S. Scary right? Just genius comics. We were blessed growing up with these two.
I can't imagine this show without Lenny & Squiggy, I looked forward to them busting thru the door every week, "Hello". 💜

Is that Laraine Newman from the original cast of Saturday Night Live (1975) @ 7:07? She's wearing a wig but it sure looks like her.
A young Ted Danson at 5:50.
Rest in Heaven Squiggy. I'm sure you'll be hanging out with Laverne and reminisce.
I Love the Enterenc at 1:51, Were In The Money ,!!!
R.I.P. Squiggy.
Now squiggy is in heaven. He opens up the gate and says" HELLO." . R.I.P I hope in his headstone it says HELLO on it.
First one is the best. I referenced that one for years.
He was great in Used Cars.
The door slamming open can not be understated.
