Turin when talking about skaven clanrats: "300 gold for 5 capture weight is a solid deal." Turin when talking about state troopers: "Ugh, they are just so flimsy and bad." *sigmarite tears intensifies*
Well it's due to their army composition. Skaven don't really need a strong holding frontline due to how their ranged units work and how fast their roster is. Either they are dirt cheap (slave slingers), very mobile (skirmish units) or highly specialized AND mobile (weapon teams). Empire is relatively static when infantry heavy. Like cathay and dwarves. As a result you need holding power much more. Hence why the difference in perspective is entirely legitimate. Still a funny comment of course.
It has the unfortunate "feature" that with a combination of the already kind of jank SEM movement it also suffers from bad animations that knock over enemies rather than hurt them. Legitimately frustrating when you see this brollick rat ogre knock around a mage but said mage has only lost like 500 hp over the course of 3 minutes. I swear all SEM monsters need the skarbrand treatment 😥
This trick of using a skavenslave as your general and unsummoning it so it does'nt die and you get no penalty, and at the same time still getting area of effect leadership buff from characters, and making Sniktch essentially invisible among the sea of ratmen because his banner looks like a clanrat one. That's pure cheese and I sure love camembert.
Could we take a moment to recognize Plague being used in a competitive match? I can't remember the last time I saw it, it's so refreshing to see other spells being used than the usual few.
The game would benefit a lot from having a more clear/robust mass system that the players are explicitly made aware of and expected to engage in. Trample for horses, chariots and monsters/monstrous infantry; ethereal and assassin units need to go be able to go through infantry. More armour should equate to more mass and more trample resistance, heavily rumoured infantry should apply pushback to lighter infantry during line clashes. All sorts of good stuff they can do, and places they can take it.
GOOD ANAKIN GOOD! (My way of saying I’m loving the double uploads! I k ow you got some banger replays waiting to be casted. Also I’ve asked sporadically about this but when we gonna get a autogen tourney with no units caps? For the wacky and wild builds! I need some double el gordo in wh3!)
Hmm pretty sure we've seen this exact matchup with basically the same outcome a few months back. Shouldn't it be widely known by now that vermintide counters the wide vcount build?
Power Grab isn't the problem. Make the general unable to unsummon across the board and you fix all the cheesy avoiding of penalties for death of general.
@@01stephe21 Unsummoning your "general" at the start is a bit cheesy as well, but it doesn't give you a +8 leadership buff to your whole army. Unsummoning your general later in the game when you're out of WoM or when they're very low HP I think is a fair tactical move.

Wh... where's the snare? If you're going for the true assassin move the snare is the most important part!
A true _'bruh'_ moment for sure...
Mutant rat ogres? Now thats the unit i havent seen in a while. That one is so rare im thinking about giving it the title Rat Ulgor

Luv' Me Ratties
Lov' Me Vermintides
'Ate me Vampies
Simple as
so nice to see skaven behaving like a faction with lots of different units in their roster!
7:26 That's what the snare is for.
8:30 there is so much SHIT on the battlefield it's hilarious.

Praise be. Was just hoping for Sigmar to bless my ravaged body with an upload

May not have brought the snare, but Death master managed to bag himself two necromancers anyway
"Terror on a stick," I love it!
"The brave clan rats" lmao
Gran turinooooooooo let’s fu**king go baby!
Deathmaster attacks cracked me up
I'm utterly convinced Counts are sleeping on their black knights and black coach.
Imagine trying to fight a whole army of fear causing units with slaves and clanrats when you don't have the dumb slave-lord exploit
Hey Turin, when are you planning a domination faction war?? Cheers!
Keep up the good work Turin
i always love your thumbnails 🫶🏻
Two Domination mode armies in a nutshell lmao.
One Mortis Engine or Black Coach would have been so money though.

the master assassins ranged attack is brutal

Too bad vampire counts tapped out, I would have loved to see this to the end. Was there really no way to come back?
is krell permanent in multiplayer now? i know in campaign he can be wont degrade any more with some skills i believe
Yes
What is this "Power grab" exploit? (New player here) Can you only do it in warhammer 3? How exactly does it work?
funny how you never see skaven in VS battles, they are soo good.
I'm almost reluctant about removing the power grab exploit, it feels so skaven to do it
Gravetide vs vermintide.
What gives Skaven the mapwide buff?
RRRRATS!
Hey Turin have you listened the new Metallica song??
GG
I wonder if wind of death is bit too powerful it seems like a 10x better burning head spell really.
Also much more expensive so it kinda evens out.
@@kubka4 for real. I personally like just bring nehek, summons, and occasionally the buff. I think in terms of value it is much greater.
Its supposed to delete mass low armor infantry. Remember those were skavenslaves or clanrats. Burning head would delete them too
Really hope the Power Grab combo is patched soon. I know Skaven aren’t very high tier currently but it really feels cheesy
Hah cheesy

Seriously. It's so obvious it wasn't intended to work this way. Dunno why the loophole hasn't been banned in tourneys
