I love your videos. Very helpful. I just got the xt5 and your videos are helping me with figuring out the camera and with deciding which lenses to get!
As somone who only recently started using a camera that's not a phone, I'm really curious how you got the correct exposure at 5:49. I was trying to get similar shots with f1.2 in aperture priority. I was fumbling with the exposure compensation, and when that seemed to not be enough, I stopped down the aperture. Perhaps I was making it too difficult on myself by rotating the camera relative to the sun to experiment with different compositions. Not sure if pros are able to adapt their exposure quickly enough when rotating such that they don't miss too many shots
What was the setup or closest default film simulation for this shoot? Liked it for the pastel yellowish/orange background colors contrasted with her blue/green outfits.
Thanks for this. More ammunition for learning. Question: In the shots where you used the trees to soften the light, did you spot expose for the face? In general for natural light do you find it better to area expose then bring up the shadows? Or, expose for the face and bring down any highlights? Again, thanks for the tips!
I hear a Sony Shutter somewhere in their sounds like a Sony Compact😅😂 that A7c Shutter can be distinguished a mile away😂 , nice video Keep up the Good work.

you need to start shooting in manual mode. Don't let the camera make the decision for you, sometimes it's wrong.
@@Iamtongue Thanks man, will do
Nice Work!! 😃

Have you ever shot natural light headshots ?
Yea they’re pretty easy
@@Iamtongue do you have any videos on those ?
No that’s something I haven’t filmed.
Better Fujifilm f2 or f1,4 lenses???
f1.4
@@Iamtongue Thanx
How can I consistently find models to photograph? I’m looking to work with more women to expand my portfolio.
Was the black mist 1/8 used at all ?
nooo none at all
Are using a dslr camera ?
mirroless

Thank you
Is the shutter really that loud or did you at sound effects? 😂
the wireless mic was clipped onto the hot shoe mount of the camera. So the mic is picking it up
The shot at 5:17 is one of the best shots I’ve ever seen! How did you even see that because I would have never thought of doing something like that. 🫠

Thanks lex! Just years of seeing shapes, lines and compositions!
