At least nine passengers were killed and 40 others injured when a goods train smashed into the passenger train from behind. From this village, first responders and rescuers emerged, with the harrowing incident compelling the entire village to abandon any plans of celebrating the festival. MD Hassan, a 21-year-old from Tambari, was one of the first to reach the accident site and managed to rescue the loco pilot of the goods train. The unified effort of the villagers and the administration in the rescue operation highlighted the strength and resilience of the community, showcasing the selflessness and solidarity of a united India. Despite the somber mood, the spirit of the village shines through, as they collectively mourn the loss and honor the lives affected by the tragic accident.
