I can NOT believe all the things those two know how to do at such an age!! I’m from the country and don’t know half of the things Becky does!! So impressive, right?!!

Isn't it so romantic to have a husband who helps with projects like these ? I love when mine does 🥰 it looks phenomenal ! Can't wait to see what you plant in the new area.
What a good hubby you have! That chicken run is AWESOME!! Your girls are going to LOVE being in there when they can't be in your garden tearing things up. And that dinner ... what a GREAT idea! Gonna have to try it :D
Good job Josh! My Dad used to come in after working on our fruit trees, sweaty, scraped and exhausted…but he called it “ a good kind of tired “. Gonna be some grateful chickens!
I totally understand 'the good kind of tired' wish there was a bumper sticker with that phrase, it is so spot on for so many people whether it's physical or mental, somehow we all get a workout specific to our own needs, your Dad...definitely a good Man and you a good Daughter for remembering the better things/phrases in life : D
Props to Josh for getting that project pretty much done in two days. What a fun, long, tiring and super productive day. Your girls are going to be super happy. I remembered you mentioned hawks in your area; hope you put some netting on top to protect then during the day time. Egg rolls in a bowl seems easy and yum, and will soon be on the dinner menu at my home.
You have a hubby to be very proud of! He did an absolutely great job on that fabulous chicken run!! All your hard work is paying off. It all is looking so great!! And, your cute feather babies will be happy too! 🌱🐔🌾🐔🐔💝
I enjoyed this video! When you call your chickens “Girls” I had to laugh especially when they needed their “privacy”…it was too funny and cute! You and your Josh do make a good team (gotta be in the name) and I believe you having your meal prepared for lunch and then the prep work for dinner/supper was a huge plus for having a great working time through to the end of the day! I know that you know, but you have and belong to a wonderful family! Gale Flowers 🌸
Becky you are so cute! You even know when your Chicks are needing their 'privacy'. Also when you walked back the wheelbarrow to the Chick coup you reminded of a Mama (human or animal) doing her 'thang' to get her 'nesting' space ready for what's to come whether it be eggs or the chicks who are laying the eggs. I love watching you work, your talk and voice overs. Thanks for all you do for us Miss Becky !!! 😇
Great job Josh! Becky you have a keeper with him, lol. You all did an amazing job, including Mom and Dad, plus you tackled ALL those onions! Giant accomplishments! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Great job Josh! Glad to see Josh on camera. Your girls are so lucky to have you two for parents! Becky, you’re so cute with your girls, can clearly see you love them.
A easy DIY to pull a fence like the chicken fence tight is to use two 2X4 boards (or whatever you have that's the right size and strength) and a Come-Along. Wrap the end between the 2X4's, roll at least once and clamp together tightly so wire is held in place. Attach the Come-Along to a tree, vehicle or some stable point and the other to the ends of your 2X4'S and tighten evenly. While pulled tight you can attach to your T-posts. The Girls will love their new space!
Josh did a great job on the chicken run. You may be tired today, but when you get ready to start planting, you will appreciate having everything cleared off. The egg roll in a bowl turned out great 👍
You two are awesome!!! Josh, you did a great job!! You shouldn't be camera shy. You do an awesome job and your wife is just the awesomeness!! God bless you both! Thank you for sharing your lives with us. We love ya!
What a wonderful space for your girls!!🐓I bet they love their new space! You both are so amazing!! I love egg roll in a bowl too.Thank you for sharing!!
Can I safely say couple goals? Also, that is such a workout - we all know gardening is, but watching you guys lift and sift and rotate makes me feel energized, and also excited for when we start that hard work. There's just something about it being your thing, especially when done with your partner, that makes it so special. The run looks amazing for done in barely two days!!
I love the girls🥰❤️🥰 I love how sweet you are to them & how they just follow you & let you hold them. Little animals are so adorable. I think your followers are totally interested in your girls.Dinner looks yummy 😋 Enjoyed watching ❤️
Josh did a great job on the new chicken run 👍 👌 I'm happy for the girls and glad you finally have a dream come true , yay! Your dinner looks so delicious 😋
So I know how busy you two are so I have a suggestion for you. Have you considered installing a automatic chicken door? They work wonderfully. Can set the time to open and or close. Most also have a light sensor so it will open and close with sunrise and sunset. Never have to worry about forgetting to close the door at night. Again, wonderful. Have a great day 🌤 😀 🐓👍
If you drive metal tent pegs over the bottom of the fencing wire every couple of squares it assists in keeping the wire taunt and also helps to keep the chickens in and predators out. 😊 Looks awesome.
Josh did a great job. Might want to consider an automatic door that opens each morning and closes. The 1870's homestead among others have installed. Works from battery and solar. It can also be programmed on your phone. Not terribly expensive. Really looking forward to your garden coming to life. Take care
I love your chickens! They seem so sweet. I have to tell you, I literally gasped out loud when you tossed the cabbage core or "stalk" as I call it, into the trash! LOL!! I always asked my mom for the stalk when I was a kid. I would put salt on it and eat it. I've gotten lazy in my old age and now. I just buy the bagged slaw mix so no stalk to eat. It's great seeing your husband in these videos with you!
We used to run a hot wire a few inches off the ground around the outside of the chicken pen. It discourages raccoons, dogs, foxes, etc. That's a beautiful pen!
I put U shape pegs (they are called garden staples) all along the bottom of the fencing to add some more protection against predators trying to dig under the fencing. It won't stop predators completely but they are inexpensive and if you use a lot will add some security. Your chickens are lovely and your care and kindness to them is so nice to see.
You two are just so cute! I love watching your videos and love that you seem so down to earth. I also love that you don't edit out if you drop and slop in the kitchen because we all do that. Thanks to you I have made homemade vanilla and picked up the stuff to make brown sugar. I do think you need a pair of the gloves with silicone though. I use mine every single day in the kitchen. You have wonderful parents and you should tell Josh he does great on camera so don't be so shy. I live in southern Il and in my rural area I couldn't find the Redmond Real Salt and I just had to try it,so thank goodness for Amazon. I am 60 years old and really don't like to cook, but I have been making soap for 22 years. My husband and I also camp so I made quite a few of the fire starters you and your mom made. I've also been making candles for 22 years so I had the equipment already to melt the wax. Keep up the awesome work! Teresa from Southern Illinois

First of all your at 260K !! Congratulations 🎉🎈🍾 You work so hard you deserve it and I wanted to tell you how proud I am of your accomplishments. I can hardly wait to see what’s with you next Becky. What a nice weekend together. Love the new run for the girls! That space they have been on is going to be a nice addition to the garden! A great spot to plant pumpkins and gourds or squash and melon. 🌱💜
