The first 3 to 4 years of marriage I wanted a divorce. I was born-again and so was my spouse, but we had ZERO principles of the Word. fast forward 23 years later and we have learned so much about what it means to live in unity and commitment and servant love. The road, more often than not, was bumpy and filled with potholes, but we are still traveling on it and the way has gotten so much smoother and its all to the glory of the Lord our God! The principals of the word are so key and absolutely necessary for a strong, lasting marriage. GREAT WORD!

I can’t take what work god has done due to the divorce because everything is his plan and his work he’s molded us both so much in the last 3 years but I do not think it is an option ever, No matter what do not give up, do not throw in the towel get help see the pastors love your partner and pray and trust god he will do the rest.

My boyfriend of almost a year broke up with me this week, he said he prayed about it and felt like God was just telling him to be alone and he can’t got against what God is telling him, he had also said we were unequally yoked. In the middle of our relationship we started really wanting to go to church and we’re excited, we were watching sermons and we would pray for everything that was going on, but we lost it and our jobs and life were getting in the way. I believe God separated us to bring us closer in our relationship with him before we can have a relationship with each other. I want to do it right this time if God brings us back to each other and live a Godly relationship.

I'm not playing when I tell yall I bought the book yesterday and I have been watching relationship goals EVERY DAY. On the way to work, from work, bored, tired whenever. My thoughts start spiraling and remembering people that I failed in a relationship with and I watch. This sermon has calmed so much anxiety and regret for me. Thank you!
Praise God for leading me to an anointed pastor. I was just led to elevation sermons a few weeks ago after fighting with God the last few years. And HE has STILL been faithful the whole time even when I havent been and I thought HE had left me. I KNOW this bc everything HEs laid on my heart and mind lately HE immediately afterwards leads me to a sermon from steven furtick that directly relates to that issue.
Love this! I'm in the process of healing from calling off my engagement when my fiance tried to have me compromise God with a polytheistic ceremony before idols. These messages show me that I did the right thing and God has me ❤ Staying focused on the principles of the manual and taking back control 🙏

@@melissam2831 Absolutely and thank you so much for your prayers! His whole family is Hindu. He converted to Christianity before we met. While dating, we went to church and prayed together. However, things changed after we got engaged. His family made it clear that I had to respect their "culture" but really meant religion. I tried to compromise with him that we could do things in his culture but I did not want any gods or Hindu priests in any of the events (they believe in Krishna). He said ok at first but they would not agree. He then claimed he couldn't hurt his family and if I "truly loved" him, I'd do both a Christian ceremony and a Hindu ceremony. He said it is just a day or two and to just stand there- God would understand. I did... and still do love him, but God has to come first. After months of going back and forth that I could never agree to that as it violates my core beliefs, I walked away on January 1st. I can't start marriage in front of idiols and I can't expect my future to be different if I started it off with such a major compromise against my faith. I am still very much grieving but I know that I was saved from what would have been a future of misery. I watch Pastor Furtick and Pastor Morris all the time for strength and to focus on the truth ❤ Adding Pastor Todd to that list 😄

I came to know elevation church through HOPE TV last month,,,watching in Kenya
I’m just gonna take this time and thank pastor Steven and pastor Mike, y’all don’t even know me but let me tell y’all, sometimes I would be really depressed and pastor Steven would just (out of the blue) post an emotional control sermon and I would be struggling with sin and pastor Mike did a whole series on Grace is a flood. You won’t believe this but one day I was literally out of my mind and I asked Him “ who are you Jesus, where are you Jesus?” And pastor Steven just be casually posting a whole series on “Savage Jesus” and a sermon called “you must be important “ which btw changed the trajectory of my life. Two pastors? No two Angels sent by God! Bless you guys!

This was timely... i mean really timely. I feel tears at the back of my eyes. Well not anymore.
I get so lonely its painful. Every so often i consider if i really have be the way i am. The men here like a good show, for sure. Perhaps a good fashion show, or spotlight or best girl around. How right can someone play their cards. I am not good at games and i dont believe in intentionally doing stuff to attract anyone. The only men that show any interest are decidingly not Christian.
I havent compromised but i have considered it, just last night, like a fool.
Now today here is pastor Bayless preaching on feeding on the word for relationships and life, pastor Todd preaching on feeding on the word and relationship goals, and Pastor Steven telling me to stay focused. I was only trying to hear the latest preaching that had been uploaded, but instead God is using these men to tell me hold on. He knows how lonely i get. Anyway, thank you. I will get this book also. What a graceful sermon it is. Was just very confused about my relationship right before I saw this sermon, and this really made my "focus" to be way more stronger on Jesus rather than a relationship. Need prayers about my relationship and want my bf to "focus" on Jesus rather than focusing on worldly things. And want to move forward in this relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ's, 'Yes'!

These are the kind of guys we need to help the younger people hear the word of God. 50 is a few years away for me. Steven is a couple years younger than my brother and Michael is actually 3 years younger than my sister. Two guys who talk and dress like the people we see every day. These are the kind of people who can spread the word of God to the younger generations.

God will surely restore our relationship. my girlfriend and I broke up a little over a month ago, we were so engulfed in worldliness, things we shouldn't have been doing. Sought each other first instead of seeking the Kingdom of God, and tried to fill the void in our hearts with each other. It's been a hard summer for me. I truly love her with all my heart. But I won't give up, I'll better myself. I'll seek God's kingdom first and his righteousness. I want to have a great testimony to tell for the rest of my life. I'll try to remember and come back and comment on this once our relationship has been restored and is Christ-centered.
