Building Projects: Making Money Decisions

When we're working on projects, very often the 2 things that are issues right away would be finding real estate, and having money to develop and build the project.
Without those 2 things, there simply isn't a project to build.
At the start, there's just a lot to figure out, but rather than spinning in the mud with too many questions, to move projects forward early in the process, we can set what the real rules of the game will be.
Since money is always a big part of this, by setting the ground rules at the start for budgeting and timeline, it helps us ground the project in the reality of what we can afford to do.
Then, once we have the rules of the game roughed out, we can make THAT thing, the best it can be. Big or small, it doesn't matter, because we can always make something amazing, but it doesn't do anybody much good, if we spend many months and many dollars drawing up things that are way out of the ballpark.
That leads to revisions, changing project scope dramatically, and lots of wasted time and money.
By making smart money decisions at the start, it helps us make progress efficiently and predictably.
Yes, things evolve, but we do the best we can with the information available, which is a combination of art and science; meaning, it's not just what you can raise for a project, but what do you even want to raise for a project, which is less specific, but also important to consider so you don't over-stress yourself and the process.
When we figure out what's genuinely attainable, it will help you with finding real estate, and generally figuring out how, when, and where to spend your money.
Then, we can focus on the fun part, which is making the best project possible, within your budget.
