I just recently got the HP Omen 45L 4090 edition and I personally am in love with it. After tax it came out to like $3600 or so, which I didn't even think was a bad deal considering most 4090s go for 1500-2000 by themselves. I've never built a PC before and I also have a small apartment with not much room to build the thing, so it was much easier for me to just pay a few hundred more for a prebuilt, so I wanted a 4090 desktop and had a budget of 4k, and the Omen was one of the best overall deals in terms of price to performance. This is the first real gaming desktop I've ever owned and going from my PS5 to it is like an entirely different world just opened up lmao
@@Jcas93 I'm on the 3 month mark of owning it and everything is running the same as it was day 1. Very satisfied. I plan on adding more RAM and maybe down the line swapping out the motherboard but even as it comes, it's a fantastic machine.
If you have problems with the GPU on this HP, the motherboard has no HDMI or DP ports on it if you have a non F CPU. There can be no UHD graphics without the port. You do see a ton of people asking if the motherboard can be swapped, and that's probably why. It can be done but they say the wires are short inside and the fans are all non standard.
Hey bro I found one with these specs for $3,000 USD. Is it worth it? It's a flash sale so price won't last long. Intel® Core™ i7-13700K (up to 5.4 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 30 MB L3 cache, 16 cores, 24 threads) Kingston FURY 32 GB DDR5-5200 MHz XMP RGB Heatsink RAM (2 x 16 GB) 1 TB WD Black PCIe® 4x4 NVMe™ TLC M.2 SSD 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA HDD NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4090 (24 GB GDDR6X dedicated) Front Bezel Black Glass RGB with 360 mm liquid cooler and 1200 W 80 Plus ATX power supply Realtek RTL8852BE Wi-Fi 6 (2x2) and Bluetooth® 5.3 compatible combo (supporting gigabit data rate)
I need help in building my pc. I am using this pc for only gaming. Currently planned for 1440p max ultra gaming. I believe rtx4080 is fine to play any games all max to 1440p. Correct me if i am wrong. I have 2 questions 1. What CPU i can buy so that i can use it for long time even if move to 4090 or 5000 series later... 2. If i move to 4k monitor later will this rtx4080 will play all max in 4k as i'll first switch to 4k in a year before upgrading gpu
1- the ryzen 7 7800x3d, and 2, it depends on the game and settings, the 4080 is a great 4K GPU right now, but it depends on the games that you want to run in the future
The RTX 4070 is a 1440p GPU, so if it fits your budget and you play at 1440p then it's a great deal, but if you want to play at 4K max settings then it is not
I would go for it bro. I got my45l delivered yesterday. I got the i7 with the rtx 4070 and 16 gb ddr4 ram. Aside from needing to upgrade the ram the OC is awesome. I mostly use mine for work in which it exceeds my expectations. It has no problem playing the games I play at max settings, the system is quiet like damn near silent. I know some people will argue that there are better processors and better graphic cards, and bring up 4K. But my monitors don’t even support 4K. I play 4K on my ps5 or Xbox series x and honestly the 4070 performs very closely.
@@ShadowGamingPC1 Phew, thank goodness for that as we pay 20% tax here, although it is included in advertised price in UK. I`m undecided on going for a 45L with i9 13900K and 4090 with 62GB @ £4200,😅 or 13900K with 32 GB and 4080 @£3400 . The price difference is an Alienware 34 inch 4k monitor, which would be nice. I`m thinking 4090 for futureproofing but would like that monitor.... Thanks for your reply. I`m really enjoying your reviews, therefore subbed. Best wishes from Scotland! Slainte 🍻🍻
I got mine for 2500 on holiday sale in conjunction with a promo code, max specs with 7950x3d. Don't get me wrong, I typically hate pre builds... but I got a whole new pc because it was cheaper than buying the 4090 oc edition upgrade and a new psu
@lamadoo omg I had no idea prices were that crazy there 😱 I think normally it would've been about $4500. That's insanely pricey, should buy one here in hawaii and have me ship it to ya😂 it'd save more money that way lol

What kind of motherboard does it have? Wondering if it could support 6400hz ram?
It uses an atx hp omen branded motherboard made by hp themselves but I'm not sure abt the chipset
I’ve just got my own HP Omen setup myself and I couldn’t be happier!

Hi from Scotland, UK.
I`m guessing prices on US reviews dont include tax? as equivalent pc`s here appear to be much more expensive 😅
exactly, the tax depends on the state tho

Thank you !

Very good 👍 Very thanks.
thanks bro!
this thing cost more than double of what you can just build or buy pre-built yourself..
not really, the rtx 4090 is $2000 itself at the moment, this 45l go on a discount often for $3000 total
