Worked at Toys R’ Us after high school, was the only one that fit the Geoffrey costume and was volunteered for a few events. No video instructions but the manual it came with had how to deal with a child stealing your hand scenarios (hide your hand and wave and exit) I had to put the big pieces on at a JCPenney parking lot and my phone fell out of my pocket, went to Verizon later that night to buy a new phone and told them my story, lady goes to the back and someone had found it and brought it there. Better times
I went to a Chuck E. Cheese a few months ago. They still have some in Oregon. It was creepy and unsettling even though is was freshly painted and well kept.
The rollerskating video has made it's rounds on the local channels constantly. Fun fact if you do come to Roller Kingdom, you will get offered drugs. It's in a terrible area surrounded by junkies. This commercial putting Reno on the map!
Coming from a Detroiter...Chicago is amazing and if the great Josh of Potter wants to reside there then make it so!! And midwest beaches are beautiful and the Great Lakes fresh water is a luxury.
Roller Skating was the shit! They tore down our local rink and made it a health clinic...after hearing Sara's was turned into a homeless shelter I'm less sad that they bulldozed over the original building, at least I don't have to see the shell of my childhood repurposed into a Chas Clinic. Still BIG mad I can't take my niece there to experience that place, glow sticks and all the glory that once was RollAway....
Now that you’ve talked about it on the podcast, if you and Sara spend on rollerblades and do a comedians on skates night and share video of it, it’ll be deductible on your taxes! Also probably hilarious, doooo iiiiit!
