When I was a kid, we had a 'prize' system. That is, plastic baubles of various colors that had value among family members. The clear ones were 50 cents, the pink ones were $1, and the purple ones were $5.

We are travelling so my kids thinks they don’t have chores and I’ve told them that they do still have chores!!! My older daughter passed me her surfboard and wax and I refused to wax her board!!! She can and I made her wax her siblings boards for a week!!! I don’t gather up clothes for laundry from my kids!!! They have to use a hamper and tell me where it is!!! I learned to clean as a adult and struggled!!! I wished I had learned it as an kid!!!
That’s great!! There’s also things I didn’t learn growing up and I want to make sure to teach my kids and have them be fully equipped to be an adults! 😊
