I have found that the program/app X Stitch Pro is awesome for keeping track of floss, charts and fabric (I don’t use the fabric). There is an minimal annual charge but I use this app almost daily so I find it worth it when I’m not buying the same chart twice. You can even take a screenshot of the chart and enter it along with its name and designer.
Thank you for the tour! You have a super nice, comfy, functional and cheery creative space! You have also convinced me that I need one of those DMC Floss Charts! lol! :-) Happy Stitching!
You are so lucky to have such a large room for your crafting. I’m glad you shared the DMC color thread chart. I had one back in the day but at one point I gave all my stitchy things away thinking I didn’t want to stitch again. Long story. Before I retired I decided to stitch again so one of those charts would be nice to have. Thanks for sharing everything!
You are blessed to have such a great craft room to aid you in your many talents. I know you’re a busy mommy, too. It amazes me how you get so much accomplished. Thank you for the tour.
The notebooks have been really helpful so far and I have only had them organize like that for a few months. I am able to actually see what patterns I own and it’s fun to look through them if I want to start something new.
Hi Jessica! I love the way you store your floss. I just purchased the DMC color card. I going to get the full collection, as well. I'm also trying to get in the classic colorworks club at fat quarter shop. You can never have too much floss. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day. Diane
I don’t think there is much of a difference besides the fact you can write and highlight in good notes. I was introduced to it when I purchased whistlestop stitchers digital cross stitch journal and it works on that platform. I had just gotten a new iPad and was willing to convert over to that app. It’s worth looking at if you are interested in exploring something new.
I do keep the thread on the drop. If you didn’t want to you could always get the floss storage baggies or just snack size plastic bags to put in your container.
You're one of the flosstubers I can stand to watch...you don't fuss with your hair, no animals in sight and I'm glad you changed out your tree
Thanks for the tour, what a big space for you to enjoy your hobbies within. I would love a WIP parade!
A nice walk in the woods with indigo skies are beautiful
Jessica, you are so organized. I love your craft room. Thank you so much for the tour. You can come and organized my craft room any time you want.
Wonderful tour! Lots of great space for all your stitching and making fun. Interesting idea to store by DMC chart column instead of numerical order.

Nice big craft room! Thank you for some great ideas 🙌🏼💞
Thanks for some tips on storage because I’m tired of putting floss on bobbins.
💜☮️
Love how you store your DMC floss. Thank you so much for sharing. Where do you purchase your Monaco on the rolls that you showed in your craft room?
Michaels has them and I think I saw them last time I was at Joann's.
Hi, Jessica - did you show an organizing box that you made out of a jewelry box? Could you let me know what floss tube that is?
Love your craft room an all the organization! I currently use Ibooks and was curious what is the difference between Ibooks and Good Notes?
I don’t think there is much of a difference besides the fact you can write and highlight in good notes. @@sweetwaterstitcher that is awesome! I’m getting my first Ipad delivered this week so will give it a try!
What section of Hobby Lobby did you find the zipper bags please. I really enjoy your Flosstube.
They have them with the fabric by the notions. And they also have stitching ones on the isle with the DMC.
Love your videos. Great storage inspiration. When you finish a project, do you keep the thread drop on the DMC skein when you put it back in the bin?
I do keep the thread on the drop. If you didn’t want to you could always get the floss storage baggies or just snack size plastic bags to put in your container.
